Mine is like this but only on one side. I took it to my dealership and the sales manager and the other service advisors couldn't believe it.
I take it back on December 28th when the Ford rep is there. They said that Ford will warranty it for me.
Oh great! I'm hoping they will do the same for me then.

No way they don't warranty a well known quality issue. If not they are setting themselves up for an even more embarrassing class action suit.

Nothing would surprise me at this point given how these things go lmao. But if they deny warranties there sure will be hell to pay from Ford

I thought they had fixed the main issues. I even got mine ceramic protected, and still after 1700 miles it starts cracking
Oh no - you can't do that! They're going to deny any warranty claim now.

At least you didn't wax it!

They are all cracked. Or will crack. Mine are below the glass, but I’ve seen it both ways in the wild. Haven’t seen corners and bottom at same time, yet.

I’ll spoil the surprise for you. Ford will come back with “this is not a warranty replacement issue”.
Before or after the bot asks for the VIN?

Hey guys, I got my 2 door base Bronco back in late September, and this weekend I realized that the hard top is starting to split on both sides near the side windows ...

Shoot, I thought the hardtop issues were mainly related to delaminating of edges. But your photos seem more structural in stress areas near window corners, which doesn't bode well for the longevity or ease of self repair. :(

And so it seems the 2-door models are still snake bit, with Ford still not offering a soft top only alternative?

Hey guys, I got my 2 door base Bronco back in late September, and this weekend I realized that the hard top is starting to split on both sides near the side windows. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I thought these were issues that were left in the past after the first batch of hard top issues. Pictures attached below.

I took it to my local service center, they took photos to send to Ford, and gave me a receipt of my visit. I will keep you guys updated.

That's what worries me too, especially because I haven't even taken the hard top off yet. So if it's getting overly stressed with nothing on the roof, it never being taken off, how are they going to last if mine didn't last 2 months?

I could always spend thousands on aftermarket options 🙄

How long ago did they take the photos?

Could be a freeze/thaw issue? So far I’m good, 4/10/22 build, but warm climate.

Hmmmm, I would think Ford would be beating the crap out of the supplier, Webasto. If tops continue to fail prior to the warranty, lawyers will get involved.

I'm in NY, but it hasn't been too cold here yet. If it had been colder I'd say so, but I don't think it's been cold enough yet for it to be that.
