Bronco Build Week 1/8/2024

Funny my 1/8 build week is still in production... 2-door BD manual transmission, tow package. Not in a rush I have enough cars to drive, more curious on what's causing issue. Will get here when it gets here I suppose!

Well I rolled off the line on the 12th and the modules started to pop then all was quiet. After the holiday i finally got the tear tag but the tracker still said "Production" . I assumed it was one of those delayed data posting deals and it may even be on the truck already. Then yesterday I got a Ford message it was still being built but was "delayed".

BEM-s4 and Zybore, you both are in PA...
I've been wondering if it's not really a production delay but shipping. Do they hold broncos till there is enough to fill the train cars? So you guys have to wait for any PA or that area broncos being built this week to fill the train?

Could be… I’ve only ever ordered cars built in EU they go straight from plant to port to ship it’s all very easy to track. I’d go pick the Bronco up if they did something fun at the factory, tour, driving school, etc. don’t think that’s an option but admittedly I haven’t looked into it much.

I would bet they need to fill a train car for vehicles going to that part of the country. They probably won’t put one Bronco on a rail car and send it off. That’s my guess.

That's been my thought on this whole thing too. Which sucks for some haha but thays the game right haha hurry up and wait haha

Mine indicates it is to be by convoy but it could be the same for filling the trucks.

I also was wondering if there was something missing on similar builds. Mine has the trailer kit for example. If they ran out then is it waiting for more to be delivered? It is also a Lux so any missing audio pieces?

Definitely not too late to ask for X-Plan. I reached out to my dealer when the news came out about the 2024s accepting X-Plan and my dealer agreed to honor X-Plan. If you have a good dealer they will honor it.

So I asked my salesperson this question and am meeting with him later today. After "talking to his manager" he said "my manager is aware of competitive pricing on the Bronco from other dealerships and we will adjust as well." We'll see what happens but I guess it can't hurt to ask.
