Funny story - I was driving around northern NH on Saturday, May 30 on a photo safari, sInce the higher peaks in the White Mountains had received a fresh coating of snow overnight.
Monday morning my wife starts laughing and says "you're famous"....as a photog she follows on FB had posted an...
1 am 1 year in on my 2-door manual non-SAS Badlands
One issue with having the rear seats down all the time is that it restricts front seat leg room.
Not an issue for many....but when you're a long-legged 6'5" with replacement knees driving a manual....it sucks . I tend to drive around...
Yes, sad that he is no longer there. My wife sometimes rock climbs up and over where he used to be......she said you can still see the various cables and braces put in place over the years to try and save him before he tumbled
Brought my 2024 2.3L/MT Badlands into my local dealer for this issue. They had to order a part (vacuum check valve sensor assembly). No issues since then....have driven approx 300 miles since then, local, highway, mild trail...and has not re-occurred. Fingers crossed.
In my case, I never had...
Just had these mounted with new winter tires (Nokian Hakka LT3s - same as non-SAS Badlands OEM - 285 70 R17). Late fall light is a little tough at the moment, but took some pics from various angles. 2024 Iconic Silver Badlands non-SAS
Unfortunately this just happened to me today. 2024 2.3/MT Badlands with 14k miles (took delivery Jan. 2024). Left home for an errand....Brake system error happened after accelerating relatively aggressively on a highway on ramp. Pulled off, tried putting parking brake on/off, powered off, still...
All good points. We have so much elevation gain in our neighborhood...plus a 900 foot, dirt driveway with a 13 degree incline...def worth it for us just for daily driving alone
Definitely what I was thinking initially. The main counter-argument in my mind is that if you get a non-reparable winter tire flat with a significant amount of miles on the set, you can replace it with the 5th tire which would have similar wear in a 5 tire rotation
Getting ready to order winter tires/wheels. This is the first car I've owned where I am doing a 5 tire rotation with the OEM tires (K02s).
At first I was thinking of ordering just 4 tires/wheels for winter to save a few $....but since tires will likely be on for 5+ months/year (NH)..I guess 5...
FWIW, since I've been shopping these same wheels from Ford/Ford performance to use with my winters:
https://accessories.ford.com/2021-2024-bronco-17-x-80-wheel-kit-matte-black-m1007kp1780mb
- You can buy one wheel separately or a set of 5
- The single wheels do not come with TPMS; the 5-wheel...
I have to say I like having the speed limit there - and it seems to be right for me 90+% of the time. My last car had a heads up display that included it along with current speed.....it was harder to see and not always displayed. The old car also had it at 2 o'clock just outside the main...
