Just received text from Ford "Your Bronco is almost built, but is taking longer than estimated. We'll send an update as soon as we can."

Nope. My status is the same as yours but oddly enough, I have a tear tag and I received this a few hours ago.

Well glad im not alone! How are you getting those updates? Is there something you signed up for?

Also got a tear tag and ford chat said my car was built and delivery estimate was Feb 8-13th, but no updates on ford tracker

I can't remember specifically signing up for updates but I've been receiving them since I placed the order in August.

Ford Chat told me it IS still in production but also gave me an estimated delivery date between Feb 20-26.

I received the same and the status was in that "odd" status where it appeared to go back to the beginning but that was actually a good sign as others have seen the same behavior near shipping time.

I just called Norfolk Southern and the train carrying my 2024 Big Bend was heading south in Tennessee on its way to New Orleans. My delivery date actually got moved up so I may have it in the next week to 10 days possibly.

Hi, I called Norfolk Southern and used the options in the guide. It eventually was picked up by a human and thought it was supposed to be an automated system.

I figured out the speed dial configuration for the Norfolk Southern from another post and this will make it easier to automate the tracking of it.

There's a guide on one of the tracking pages on how to use the automated phone line for Norfolk Southern. I've been calling probably a few times a day . I've been stuck in Chattanooga Tennessee for a couple days though.

The day that my order was placed I got an email and it asked if I wanted to put my phone number in to get text updates. This was the first update that I got from text since my order was placed on 9/21/23. How do you talk to Ford chat? Is there a link?

I don't know what they mean by almost built, I wish they would of gave a little more detail or just didn't text me and waited a few more days and say it was built.

Would have been nice to have it today considering it’s snowing in Maryland and I still need to head to work. I will be picking it up on Monday and was wondering if it’s too late to ask for the X-plan or if that should’ve been done prior to ordering?

Ford chat can be elusive to find.
one way is through the Ford Pass app…click on the account button top right and look for Help/contact us…chat is available 9am-9pm EST.

to find it on the web: use Firefox or Brave browser (chrome and safari don’t work for me). Look for support tab, and then the sync chat or chat support. The link to initiate a chat only shows up during chat hours. (I think it has longer hours than the pass app chat.)

Real nice people but you dont get the chit chat about how nice the color you chose or how you are making a great decision in buying a $50k 4x4.
the voice call always leads to a little more Info than you need

have you checked the Mod Pop link? I bet it’s built with a tear tag ….the vehicle build tracker is kind of late to the party.

Definitely not too late to ask for X-Plan. I reached out to my dealer when the news came out about the 2024s accepting X-Plan and my dealer agreed to honor X-Plan. If you have a good dealer they will honor it.

Mine Bronco is at my rail yard as of yesterday. The dealer is also honoring X-Plan for me.
