Today I tried to convert my 4 Door base reservation to an order. I picked everything I wanted and paid the deposit. A few hours later they said my configuration cannot be ordered the way it is and i would have to upgrade to the black diamond. I called Ford and they told me it’s available to be ordered the way I wanted.
4 Door base
Sasquatch package
Modular front bumper
Keyless entry pad
Overhead auxiliary switches
Rock rails
Pod lights
I’m not sure if they’re trying to upsell me or not but does anyone know if there’d be any problems with this configuration?

Seems fine to me without finding the pdf that listed what's available and what isn't.

Sounds like they are trying to upsell you. I find it funny that they don't say anything until AFTER they collect your deposit.

Mind telling us who this wonderful dealer is? Maybe I can win me some more McD's ?

Kinda smells like an upsale, if anything, it might be these:
- Modular front bumper - I thought this was late or a MY22 thing now? Also, Squatch gets you a steel bumper. Not sure you can swap that out for modular on a Squatch.
- Keyless entry pad - Can you get that on Base?

From what I saw, Squatch doesn't add in the steel bumper. You can add the modular bumper in the B&P though. It's the Capable bumper that is late availability (the one in the accessories spot). And oddly the keyless entry pad also exists in the B&P.

Someone should go look at that order sheet. But it looked like everything in that list was available with the Base ?‍♂

Edit: Just curious @DealerInsider, is this one you? ;) If you didn't figure it out yet, any post from the North East is going to prompt me to ask these questions ?

I didn't see optional Signature lights (front&rear) offered online on the Base, but can it be ordered?

Probably from the parts counter. Expect to pay quite a bit more than the $795 or whatever they charge for it in the higher trims.

No. Not as an option on Base or Black Diamond.

Big Bend allows for you to select the signature lights as an upgrade.

They are standard on Outerbanks and above.

Thank you! I’m going back tomorrow to try and sort it out but if it doesn’t work I’ll be sure to post the name of the dealership so anyone near me knows to run.

My question is why is there close to 5,000 in price between the base and the big bend when the only difference I see once you upgrade the engine and select the Sasquatch package is different style grille, leather wrapped steering wheel, shifter, grab handle and fog lights. Don't see that stuff costing anywhere close to that. Yes it gives you the option to select a Mid package and a few different colors, but it seems like nothing more than a way to up sell you to a higher trim level. Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I've never come across it.

The dealer needs to order the 'Big Bend 4-Door Advanced 4x4 (221A). That's required to add the Squatch package.
If they tried to order just the 'Big Bend 4-Door', it won't let you add Squatch.

It's either the rock rails, which I doubt, or the pod lights which I suspect. Have not seen the pod lights on B & P as being available on the base. Everything other the rails and lights were on my build which was no problem...

OK, that is so wildly wrong I may report it as misinformation and get it removed.
Squatch is available in every trim level. Period.

My dealer had to remove the rockrails to make the order go. They have to be added at the dealer.
Interesting, the canvas bimini top and rock rails and pod lights don't show up on the invoice price list, but are on the accy list and B&P .... I hope they get their shit squared away soon.
