'22 Base Order Surprise

Must be nice. Reserved mine in 2020, Ordered 3/21, re-ordered 10/21 still crickets on mine. 2 door Base, 2.3, manual, roof rack, switches. If I don't hear anything by this weekend, I will make a new order at another dealer.

Congrats! Also ordered a base, but back in mid October. Currently in production. 4 door, soft top, sasquatch, 2.7, aux.

reservation date 7/20/20 and still no goddamn idea when mine is getting built.. but this dude gets his built at lightning speed? and it's a 2 door, so it's got a MIC top ... this is absolutely fucking maddening. No offense to the OP - not your fault, and congrats - my anger, hatred and absolute rage is targeted squarely at the fuckwits at @Ford

Yeh... I've heard all theses stories which makes me skeptical... But its just a third fun vehicle for us, so if its delayed, its delayed. I'd be happy with it anytime this year.

I was that way when I first placed my reservation....was ready to sell my 97 Wrangler, which needed some work at that point in time. Then after a year, started to think the Bronco would never get here. In the mean time I invested in my 97 Jeep Wrangler and bought a C6 Corvette, which needed quite a bit of work but came out way better than expected.

Now I have a really nice Wrangler and Corvette- will be very difficult to part with either of them for the new Bronco. And my daily driver is a 2019 Silverado- has been bullet proof for 2 years of a lot of driving. I am not as excited as much anymore now after all this waiting. I can't keep 4 vehicles so the Bronco- if I can get it at MSRP I'll sell to someone else who really wants one and if I make even $500 I'll be happy. No need to be greedy.

Had it come sooner it might be a different story.

First post! Have definitely enjoyed all the info to date through this forum and on FB. I ordered my base bronco on 10/22. My dealer notified me last weekend that I received my VIN but he's not able to see my build date. I confirmed my VIN through the Ford website but again, no info displaying about a build date. Quite honestly, I'm excited just to see some movement on this. I would assume, at the least, this means I have a very high likelihood of getting this sometime in 22.

For what it's worth, I get sick to my stomach hearing all the stories of reservation holders being left in the dark. Really a big reason why I just decided to wait until the '22's were able to be ordered. Didn't really want to get involved in all the craziness. Hope Ford clears this up for you folks sooner than later.

This is also intended to be a "fun vehicle" for me, so I went into this with very low expectations. Keeping my fingers crossed my dealer is just a bit on the incompetent side and I'll see my bronco with this latest wave of broncos being scheduled!!

Same thing is happening to me. I have a VIN as of last week, but no one including my dealer can see a build week. I was under the impression a VIN wasn't generated until it was scheduled for production. Does anyone know about this?
