Bought a 2024 Wildtrak today - window issue

Hello everyone,

I bought a brand new 2024 Wildtrak today in Azure Gray and it's wonderful. However, I did not take delivery of it just yet because the passenger side rear window was installed incorrectly so they are going to check with Ford and fix it before I take it home. Anyone else seen this misalignment? Painted hardtop, BTW.

Yeah pretty shambolic. That cropped photo from the side was after I had test driven the Bronco and agreed to buy it - didn't notice it in terms of extra wind noise of anything funny on the drive. Thankfully, the saleslady noticed it right before I was going to drive off and then I took the pic with my finger in the gap at the top.

Oh well. My 2020 GT350R showed up from the factory with scratches all over the trunk lid and carbon spoiler back in June of 2020. And my 2024 CT5V Blackwing showed up with scratches, scrapes, and buff marks from front to back right off the trailer from the factory so I am semi used to bad quality control from American car companies (required a full paint correction). I trust that this window will be fixed so I'm not too concerned.

Just decided not to use spacers when installing the glass?

If you expand this picture, you can see one rubber spacer on the bottom and another on the side but nothing directly below the drooping section. I looked at other painted roof Broncos on the same lot and none had this issue.

Really sharp looking ride! Hopefully they get that glass re-installed and aligned for you nice and quick.

Thank you! Yes, it will be fine. Annoying to not be able to take it home but there are way worse problems in the world so I'll live.

Aren't the windows in the Mod-top removable, is it just a matter or removing and reinstalling correctly?

Waited 2 years for a mod top and eventually gave up and got the MIC, so unfortunately I can't speak from experience.

Yes I was wondering the same thing as I had heard the earlier Heritage models had that but no longer. My new Bronco does not seem to have adjustable/removable rear windows.

it's an easy fix. my wildtrak has been driven hard offroad and has had some rattles. I took my door panel off and adjusted the level of the glass and it's back to normal now. probably just loosened up on one side of the track.

I'm not sure that's the same issue as my truck. The window that is out of alignment on mine is the fixed rear window behind the rear seat. It does not appear to have any provision for adjustment.
