What is that cargo mat that works with the molle panels?
It's just a resizable one off Amazon, link below. I wasn't brave enough to cut the RTR mat it came with. This one works well, though it's a soft material rather than the rigid mould of weathertech/RTR.

Did your BD start out with Squatch?

Also, probably a dumb question — but if your tie rods fail, it saves the rack. I see you plan to upgrade the tie rods AND also install the bushing kit. I’ve not done a deep dive but my question/concern is if the bushing kit (plastic) provides enough “beef” to keep the rack from getting trashed since the upgraded Icon tie rods will no longer be the fuse (weak link).

I understand it’s advertised to strengthen the rack, just curious from the perspective of real world abuse and not marketing mouths.

I wouldn't upgrade tie rods. You are right about the fusable link.

Bushings are totally fine, they will protect the rack itself.

Thanks for confirming. Hate to see the OP spend money on tie rods that ultimately trash his rack.

Yep, SAS from the factory.

As far as the steering components are concerned, you both make valid points. I've waffled back and forth about the tie rods, I've only seen only other thread where someone was planning to do this same combo.

I may actually do just do the bushings, return the Icons, and pick up a spare inner tie rod to carry.

I like it quite a lot, the lid is worth it to be able to fit things in their easier than the standard lid. I saw some other users say that it rattles but mine has not, no more than the normal bronco trunk rattles anyway.
