In those two shops defense, they had no clue it wasn't installed right because they didn't know it was the WRONG LIFT for his truck. Sooo in their eyes, YEAH the kit was installed correctly BUT it was not the right part

They say that this kit does not work with the Hoss 3.0 - which is not what I have - but DOES work with Badlands and Hoss 2.0. That could have been a mistake on their part.

Ford has changed these trims several times throughout the years. The 2022 Badlands and Sasquatch share the same foundational suspension system. I do know the 2022 Sasquatched Bronco has larger bump stops, so that would explain a lot actually. But like I said, ReadyLift also advised this works for me. It could have been an oversight.

There is no ReadyLift spacer kit for non-Sasquatch models. They say that this kit does not work with the Hoss 3.0 - which is not what I have - but works with the Hoss 2.0. That could have been a mistake on their part.

The issue here is that you have a non-sas truck but somebody got confused, ordered you the kit that works for non-3.0 shocks (which could be 2 kits) and ordered the kit for a SASQUATCH truck.

AND sure, it fit... FOR THE MOST PART, but has rubbing issues as you saw, because it's not designed for non-sas trucks.

So IF you bought your truck new AND it had this lift kit, you need to make Ford fix it on their dime.
IF you bought your truck used AND the truck already had this kit on, well you inheritted that issue.
IF you bought your truck USED BUT you hired the dealer to install this PRIOR to you taking delivery of it, well that's on them now because they ordered the wrong kit.

In any scenario IF you bought a truck (new/used) but YOU provided the dealer the kit, well now that's on you since you provided the parts.

He originally sent me a photo of his suspension while out on the trail and the sway bar was connected. From that photo, it does appear to be rubbing. However, it does not explicitly show, so I can't attest to that.

Coincidentally, he is at the dealer today and tomorrow. I asked him to send me good photos of his Bronco with the suspension articulated and with both the sway connected and disconnected. He just recently installed his lift. So we'll see.

As for my case, both parties and ReadyLift had mentioned it would work with my year and model. Let's see what they say.

Sorry but I can't believe anything "3rd party" especially after you bashed ReadyLift for a rubbing issue when after days and days and countless back and forth and pulling hair/teeth you confirmed you have the WRONG lift kit installed.

There is a good chance he might have the wrong lift kit also. I mean, up until right now you believed you had the CORRECT lift kit installed.

So why doesn't that member you are talking to share the details of his truck in this post so we can help him figure out if he also got the wrong lift kit.

He didn't go to the same dealer as you, did he?

I mean, just tell us what happened. Here's a great example..

I bought my 2022 Ford Bronco (Non-Sas) from my local dealer. It was a truck they had in their showroom with the lift kit alreayd installed (a local off-road shop does the builds for the dealers).

We have a dealer here that sells "built" trucks. They have a local off-road shop do the lift and they sell it as a package deal. It's THEIR own package with an aftermarket lift kit pre-installed.

I mean if you are just open and honest and tell us details it REALLY HELPS People figure out what your issue is. Instead you were too focused on blaming ReadyLift instead of just answering questions about your truck and how it came, etc... it goes a LONG WAY into figuring out your issue.

We could have figured out your issue DAY 1 if you were just upfront, but you kept playing games and hiding facts. NOW, days and days later we learn that the truck has the WRONG lift kit. We still don't know who provided it or what not, but i mean, that info would have solved this mystery a long time ago... WHY HIDE the details of your truck? I don't get it, I REALLY DON'T.

He doesn't need Readylift emails to know if the statement about this "not being uncommon" is true. If not listed on the product page or the manual then there must be other internal documentation about it. I would think it would be in their interest to be open about it to avoid these issues going forward especially if you're a reseller of the product. So it really shouldn't be THAT difficult to corroborate.

Seems reasonable. Also, I have received at least four direct responses from them confirming what I said. Here's another example.

They say it will not damage the spring while overlooking the fact that some live in the PNW. Others may live with severe winter conditions. Rain, snow and salty roads are part of many daily lives. A chipped spring and constant friction between metal on metal will cause corrosion in just a short amount of time - especially if you live in a place that gets rain 165 days per year.

I say a huge THANK YOU to ADAM and others that has try to be more than helpful, patiently trying to get answers, and still uses this forum.
Get your VIN, go online to the ford window sticker and read what vehicle that was built if you didn’t get the window sticker, then look at the dealership and see what they did/didn’t do and then verify the part number vs what you have..

This kinda reminds me of a new thread from a sponsor about Broncos VS Bronco Sports and making sure you get the right mod for the right vehicle. I’m not going to blame you OP for this, but will blame you for the 7 pages later..

That's a fair question. It doesn't work that way (at least not in my case). That shop has nothing to do with this situation, and they already did me a favor by providing the assessment. While I appreciate their support, it wouldn't be fair to place the financial burden on them.

Most shops, at least the ones I'm familiar with, typically cover labor costs but not parts. If someone needs parts, they usually have to find a brand sponsorship and work directly with the manufacturer. But don't quote me on that. Those big YouTube guys must have a better deal, considering the amount of money involved in their expensive parts and labour.

I'm not a public figure nor am trying to be one (I like the peace and quiet lol). I have a 9-5 job, and although I love audio and video, I'm not interested in collaborating with brands to promote their products. Like many of us, I will do it if the opportunity presents itself and I believe in the product. But I honestly prefer to engage with my offroad community and focus on building friendships and life experiences. If that makes any sense.

Spend enough time on this forum and you’ll realize the majority of Bronco’s never experience full suspension articulation so product feedback is mostly from those backing out of the driveway. This results in mfg’s think all is good and they make claims based on that feedback.
BUT! What’s even the purpose of lifting your Bronco when it can clear 37’s stock on stock wheels? LMAO
