Except you have to take the beauty ring off the wheel before removing or installing a tire onto the wheel.

Correct fellas? I admit I have not actually replaced my tires yet. So this is an intuitive assumption on my part.

I don't think that is factually correct, however removing the "beauty ring" makes mounting and dismounting MUCH easier, and avoids scratching it

After one initial retorqe, mine haven't loosened a bit. I posted about my experience here. Maybe very low pressures and very hard use require retorqing?

From my deep dive into this it would seem that if you get good metal to metal contact the torque should hold steady the longest. If they don't cinch down because the beads are too thick then you'll get movement and loosening.

I was able to get a couple of mine to fully seat flat and the rest touch in spots and I can get a feeler gauge in other spots. So I have a good experiment brewing.

Howdy. I have the factory SAS package also on my BL. I have not taken off my beauty rings , but if I am understanding your commit correctly. The rim is predrilled with all the holes to turn them into true bead locks? Thanks

Yes, there are twice as many holes underneath those beauty rings. The Ford Performance rings come with all the stronger and longer hex head bolts you need (24 per wheel). Then you pry the tire bead to the outside of the lip and use the beadlock ring to smash down on it.
