Locking at getting a leftover 24 in the next month or two. Trying to decide between the two. Know the wild track comes with the Hoss 3.0 suspension and steering rack and from what I kind find the Badlands comes with the Hoss 2.0 and standard rack, which is known to give issues if wheeled hard...primary use will be as a DD, light towing, moderate wheeling maybe twice a month...have 30+ years off roading experience in 1st gen broncos...currently have two of those, but neither will see much off road duty.

Badlands has the upgraded severe duty rack

I still believe a non SAS Badlands is the best trim. Stay bar disc, advanced 4x4, no empty dash switch locations. Has everything SAS has. Gearing is slightly different and slightly smaller tires. Most people change wheels so just save the money spent on SAS.

As mentioned the the BL and every model year 24 Sas Bronco has the 3.0 rack. With the WT all you are getting is shocks.

Wildtrak is a good daily luxurish cruiser. It is just as capable as a BL when going off road. Buy a 2D WT while it’s still there. Ford eliminated 2.7 on the 2D on most 2025 trims

So even a Black Diamond SAS has the 3.0 rack? Even in 24 models? Personally I would rather have a BD SAS, getting the 3.0 rack is the #1 criteria.

Having 2 1st gens, no desire for a 2 door 6th gen...rather have the extra room and stability when towing.

I don't think that's correct. I have a 24 BD SAS and I'm almost certain I don't I have the 3.0 rack.

It is correct. All Sasquatch equipped vehicles and also the non-SAS badlands have the severe duty rack standard for 24MY

Yes. Only for 24MY though. That’s when Ford made it standard for Sasquatch and badlands.

I'll go look again, maybe I'm misinformed. What is the easiest way to tell if I have the 3.0?

Do I gain anything more than a heavier duty rack with the hoss 3.0?
No. You don’t have Hoss 3.0

People just call it the Hoss 3.0 rack because the Wildtrak originally had it packaged with it’s Hoss 3.0

Realistically it’s just called the severe duty rack, and that’s all you got.
Everything else from the Hoss 3.0 package was Wildtrak only.
