I agree. I’d prefer not to wait for button happen. But if that’s what ford wants, ok then. lol. Hopefully no one gets hurt.
Damn auto correct garbage. I’d pirated October “until”

I’ve considered the Eibach Pro 2.0. Perhaps the Bilstein 6112 should be considered too. Changing them myself is easy. Been working on cars forever.

Just not happy with a suggested 1500.00 bill for something they’ll replace even if they’re not bad, when the time comes.

We have two broncos, and enjoy the heck out of them.
I just received my Eibach 2.0 with Heavy duty springs, going to be installing this week, my factory Bilstein's had me going all over the place when hitting a bump, I looked and the driver side rear is leaking and passenger rear resvoir is gone, Ford dealer told me that Ford will not reimburse me unless I replaced with the same Bilstein's and had dealer installed

Here's what I'm doing, mine are on the recall list...And they have minor rust....so I called Ford customer service line, and explained my rear struts are junk, and Im tired of waiting for this "remedy" and I DONT need a lawsuit for my reservors falling off and killing someone, So Ford AGREED to open a case and gave me a case number to use later....I also told them I was buying aftermarket Struts and would be sending them a bill for the rear replacement ones (I bought new ORI struts $1600 EACH) and Ford agreed to reimburse the value of the original struts whenever the "remedy" becomes available. So at least I'll get something back someday...So happy about this!

Update, installed my Eibach 2.0 with heavy duty springs, if anyone is on the fence about them, they are amazing so far and plenty of room on my Badlands Sasquatch with 37x12.5x17 tires

Update:

After talks with the dealership and the Ford help center, we have a resolution, I think.

The bronco was determined to be unsafe to drive, and Ford agreed to reimburse me for the repairs. They overnighted the parts, and it was fixed the next day.

When I picked it up, the service writer told me to bring in the receipt once the recall is open, and we’ll submit it and try to get reimbursed.

Try? I’m not 100% confident that it’ll happen. He said these were the upgraded struts, and they came with a 2 year warranty.

$1200.00 later, at least it’s back to normal.

I considered upgrading, but I can later if I decide to. Right now I’m just glad to have it back.
