I need to put everything in one place... Going on day 10 of no 4HI/4LO.

June 8 started working on my AWD module, been having intermediate issues in 4wd. Intermittent communication errors. I had a FDRS license so I figured I would just flash the AWD module and throw my Ford Performance M190 delete tune back on.

AWD PMI and Configuration crashed during FDRS install.

June 9 called and talked to Dan at Ford Performance. Got nothing. Spent 4-6 hours reloading every module and trying to run AWD PMI.

June 12 ordered a new AWD module because I hit a wall, no updates from Ford Performance.

June 17 Installed new AWD and successfully programmed the unit. P064F

AWD Module error from bad module... Note green and all good lol.

Swapped in new AWD Module, did not physically install and no issues programming!

We successfully have a AWD error for position sensor of the FDU! Which means everything is working but the Ford Tune for the M210 swap.

Installed ProCal Tune with M190 delete software and same codes and 2HI light went out... No 4HI/4LO or noises, before ford tune I could hear the transfer case start shifting lol.

Called Ford Performance again and talked with Ken, still waiting to hear back.

Withdrawals, man. 😬
I probably have 40 hours of sitting in the drivers seat with a laptop and past the point of counting beers.

Did you try loading the AWD software from a non fad m190? I had convinced myself that I would be able to just swap in a used AWD module from a non fad bronco and in forscan make sure the line for AWD vs part time transfer case set for part time transfer case and it would work, I believe that line is 703-163-01, second digit x*xx. I had studied a bunch of AWD modules and that was my best guess, also the explorer ST that had fad issues when Ford does the tsb for fad delete it looks like on the software side all they did is install an update to the AWD module.

Going to go buy a disconnect FDU this afternoon and mount an actuator on the bronco. Ford Performance hasn't even suggested anything. I need to get this thing fixed.

So your post was convient because I had a used Wildtrack AWD module on the way, it showed up today and I installed it. I used FORSCAN to load my asbuilt configuration into the module right after install, I then did the AWD module relearn procedure in FORSCAN. I then tested the 4WD functions and everything works and was good, transfer case shifted all 4H, 4L and no errors. I then went and unplugged the FAD and I was able to still shift the transfercase, 4H and 4L with no errors. So it seems like the FAD is indeed all in the AWD module. So it looks like Procal not needed to bypass FAD..Now I just need to reinstall my original AWD module until I can get my 210 parts.

I'm not sure whats going on with your situation there though.
