I bought the Ford Performance (Rigid ) mirror lights. I mistakenly used the Green/Brown wire that goes to AUX2 .
They work fine. I found out later that it was supposed to be Violet/Grey wire to AUX3.
Will it matter at all or should I rewire it to the Violet/Grey wire? I hate wiring work. It stresses me out. Thanks!

The colors matter as they indicate what amp draw the wires have. You’re fine with what switch you wired it up to.

Thanks Everybody. I really appreciate it. It’s my 1st wire up on the Aux switches. I won’t be getting to many things to wire up for now. I just didn’t want to overload anything. Thanks Again!!!!

Just save a switch for the expresso machine. It would be uncivilized to venture out on the trail with less.
