I’d take one. I saw my first original Stroppe in the wild being unloaded at a transmission shop in Seguin a couple weeks ago.

Was not the reason for the black tailgate on the stroppe to not blind or put a glare on other racers behind it, the same for painting the hood black to cut the glare for racing?First time I’ve seen one out in the wild. Black tailgate and all.
About the tailgate discussion… I figure the Ford stylists didn’t understand why the hood was flat black and carried it to the tailgate. Just dumb.![]()

The original ones didn't have a black tailgate. Was not the reason for the black tailgate on the stroppe to not blind or put a glare on other racers behind it, the same for painting the hood black to cut the glare for racing?
I guess Ford kept with the build to make it as accurate as possible to the original use?

That may change. Ford just dropped prices across the board on Broncos. Notably 10k+ on the BRaptor. The pricing on the Stroppe might get interesting.I have one arriving in the next 3-4 days. For those of you talking about deep discounts for a Stroppe Edition, think again. I called at least 25 Ford dealers all over the country to see what was happening and they are all either 'sold' or 'spoken for'. Ford is having no problem selling them before they even arrive at the dealerships.
Most of the dealers that I spoke to told me that they were only getting one Stroppe Edition. They are a limited, late production, unlike the BRaptor where lots of dealers have several sitting on their lots. IMHO, the Stroppe will sell out quite easily w/out any sort of discount. That may change. Ford just dropped prices across the board on Broncos. Notably 10k+ on the BRaptor. I don’t believe the Stroppe is limited to a specific production figure (nor is the Raptor)Most of the dealers that I spoke to told me that they were only getting one Stroppe Edition. Yes, it is a limited quanity vehicle: Here is what the Ford website states: The 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Special Edition is a limited-edition model. While Ford hasn't specified the exact number of units produced, it's marketed as a special, limited-quantity release w/ late availability.I don’t believe the Stroppe is limited to a specific production figure (nor is the Raptor)
Let us know when you get your Strope! Collectors item for sure. 20 or 30 years from now I’m sure many will look back and say dammit wish I would have got one.Yes, it is a limited quanity vehicle: Here is what the Ford website states: The 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Special Edition is a limited-edition model. Yeah, they wanna lure collectors in, but don’t wanna commit to an exact number because they’re probably gonna keep making them as long as people are buying them.LOL, "while Ford hasn't specified the exact number of units produced............." Reminds of of double-secret probation.
