Anyone order a Stroppe?

I’d take one. I saw my first original Stroppe in the wild being unloaded at a transmission shop in Seguin a couple weeks ago.

First time I’ve seen one out in the wild. Black tailgate and all.

About the tailgate discussion… I figure the Ford stylists didn’t understand why the hood was flat black and carried it to the tailgate. Just dumb.

Was not the reason for the black tailgate on the stroppe to not blind or put a glare on other racers behind it, the same for painting the hood black to cut the glare for racing?

I guess Ford kept with the build to make it as accurate as possible to the original use?

The original ones didn't have a black tailgate.
And these were dessert racers, the back was caked with dirt and dust.

I have one arriving in the next 3-4 days. For those of you talking about deep discounts for a Stroppe Edition, think again. I called at least 25 Ford dealers all over the country to see what was happening and they are all either 'sold' or 'spoken for'. Ford is having no problem selling them before they even arrive at the dealerships.

That may change. Ford just dropped prices across the board on Broncos. Notably 10k+ on the BRaptor. The pricing on the Stroppe might get interesting.

Most of the dealers that I spoke to told me that they were only getting one Stroppe Edition. They are a limited, late production, unlike the BRaptor where lots of dealers have several sitting on their lots. IMHO, the Stroppe will sell out quite easily w/out any sort of discount.

I don’t believe the Stroppe is limited to a specific production figure (nor is the Raptor)

I feel I already have one at half the price. My Base 2022 2 door Sas has the 2.7 and I have dual CAT back exhaust for the throaty sound. I would never, ever pay what they are asking for a Stroppe. I paid 38K for mine and thought that was so expensive as it is. If I'm going to spend that kind of $$ I'm going to get something that really moves- Mustang GT, Corvette C7 or C8, or even can get a Shelby.

Yeah, they wanna lure collectors in, but don’t wanna commit to an exact number because they’re probably gonna keep making them as long as people are buying them.

Just about every dealer in the Portland metro area has one on the lot. Some advertising at MSRP, some a slight discount, and the pricks trying to add $5k. They really screwed up with the flat black tailgate.
