Anyone order a Stroppe?

Mine arrived at the dealer today. I may not take it. Need to let them know by tomorrow.
With the deep discounts on Raptors, they are cheaper than the Stroppe!

I'd wait which is what I did on my HLE. I was eyeing one since they were introduced but thought they were just too much $$$. January of '25 I found a leftover '24 and saved myself over $13K. I don't imagine the Stroppe will sell like hot cakes at that MSRP and what many consider to be polarizing looks so just wait out the dealers and someone will be looking to clear them out come next model year.

It wouldn't surprise me if Ford has made arrangements with dealers for it to be featured in their showrooms with no financial penalty for it to sit. The Stroppe for MY'25 is the Halo trim.

I stopped to look at the truck after hours. It’s sweet in real life. Pictures don’t do it justice.
on the other hand, the rear being blacked out was a mistake in my opinion. The white and orange continuing along the tailgate would look much better.
I still haven’t decided but will post back when I do.

Good luck. If not you, it will make someone else happy. Not sure why people are getting hung up on the black tailgate. Anyone who can afford the note for the Stroppe can pay for vinyl to correct the color scheme.

I’d leave it original, garage it, and only drive it on Sundays.

Anyone order a Strope? I saw one pop up on a dealership website in Colorado and some are popping up in Cars.com. They haven’t arrived yet at dealers just showing stock photos. So Id imagine we will start to see them showing up soon in customer hands. Wish Ford would have put the 3.0 in it, then they would have had my order.

Drove on yesterday...really sweet except for the tailgate??? Just can't get past that styling goof for the price.

I ended up buying a Ranger Raptor and was not a fan of the 3.0 (or the Ranger) and sold it. My 2-door Bronco with the 2.7L seems just as quick as the 3.0 under 60 mph. The 2.7L is a great engine and, with the right gearing and tune, will do everything a 3.0 can do, but for less $$, and with better MPGs and Port/Direct injection. IMHO, its the best of all worlds. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to race the two, but I'm guessing the 2.7L would have kept up, at least to 60. Perhaps Ford is waiting to release their 2-door with the 3.0 as the anniversary edition in 2026?

First time I’ve seen one out in the wild. Black tailgate and all.

About the tailgate discussion… I figure the Ford stylists didn’t understand why the hood was flat black and carried it to the tailgate. Just dumb.
