This is for those who purchased and drove a Bronco with Lux package. Was it worth it? Do you find that you use the features frequently?

The reason I ask is that I’ve been enjoying my Grangetober ‘22 Badlands 7mt, mid package. It’s a four door w/o Sasquatch. But I’m considering moving to a 2 door with Sasquatch. I see some new leftovers from ‘23 with and without lux.

Well worth it for me. I use adaptive cruise daily and love the heated steering wheel.

No way for me to compare to the other options, but I really like the LUX features on my '22 OBX mall crawler. This vehicle works perfectly for what I need it for. Last Sunday I drove my wife into Seattle so she could attend a play at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle. The Evergreen Bridge was completely closed for the weekend, so we had to take an alternate route from my secret HQ in the Snoqualmie Valley. Googleina (like Garmina, only with Google Maps instead of a Garmin GPS) on my 12-inch screen got us there, with minor variations along the way due to changing traffic conditions. When the going got heavy, I pressed the little button on the steering wheel and asked for the B&O sound system to "Play FM 98.1," for some soothing classical music. Yeah, I'm spoiled, but so what? My OBX definitely looks like a mall crawler rather than a Tonka truck, but I know she'll get us home in a downpour or even in a snowstorm.

Start checking off what features you would actually use, and then decide if it's worth it for you.

The big surprise for me, is that the 360 camera is very useful, it makes life easier.

This is the first vehicle I've owned that the voice recognition is actually getting it right, so I'm starting to trust using it more often, but I don't think to use it as often as I should because of crap systems for so many years. So this is finally worth it.

The only other feature I've never had, wireless charger in car - as reported, it really heats up your phone and doesn't charge as fast as a wire I could easily do without it.

Everything else I've had before, and works as expected, depends on if you'd use it.

Edit .. added...

The reality is, if all those features came free, no one would complain that they have them. So it comes down to, is the price difference worth it to you, or would that money be better spent elsewhere.

Only you can answer that question.

For me, yes, I was on the fence at the time, but I'm happy I did it.

I saved the money for the lux package by buying only two doors. Truth be told, I used to tell folks to “ wear gloves” when they moaned about the lack of a heated steering wheel. Today, the heated steering wheel is my favorite part. Oh, the wireless charger is useless.

I will say, I used to have a car that had all the luxuries from this package, and then I moved to a car without them to save money. I thought “oh I won’t miss it too much” I was greatly mistaken. Auto cruise is soooo nice and the 360 camera is super helpful in everyday life. I miss it every day and look forward to getting a bronco with the lux package after my current lease.

Without adaptive cruise I was a no go in a Bronco. I drive a lot of interstate in my Silverado and bought the Bronco because it was so much better than the wrangler on the highway which included having adaptive cruise.

I think it is worth it if that is what is on the Bronco you are interested in on the lot. I wouldn't have ordered it that way. For an order, I'd stop at high package.

I won’t buy another Bronco without the 360 camera. I use the forward camera when off-roading all the time.

(wireless phone charger is trash)
