All right. Who doesn't hate our times of throw-away products and 1 year warranties? If I buy an aftermarket part, it should last minimally for 5 years, more like 15. Such parts should certainly outlast the factory parts they replace.
I'm seriously considering (well have been for quite some time) some aftermarket headlights for my Raptor. The primary goal is significantly brighter high and low beams. The factory lights are very weak and just too far below DOT/SAE maximums.
I really liked the Morimotos, especially when they had huge buy backs for ones factory headlights. I nixed that idea after learning that most people have to warranty these and some people have done so 4-5 times. See here. Yikes.
Now looking at AlphaRex. I've heard reliability is much better and the warranty is marginally better at 2 years.
Please answer 1 option from the first three questions and 1 from the last two.
