All right. Who doesn't hate our times of throw-away products and 1 year warranties? If I buy an aftermarket part, it should last minimally for 5 years, more like 15. Such parts should certainly outlast the factory parts they replace.

I'm seriously considering (well have been for quite some time) some aftermarket headlights for my Raptor. The primary goal is significantly brighter high and low beams. The factory lights are very weak and just too far below DOT/SAE maximums.

I really liked the Morimotos, especially when they had huge buy backs for ones factory headlights. I nixed that idea after learning that most people have to warranty these and some people have done so 4-5 times. See here. Yikes.

Now looking at AlphaRex. I've heard reliability is much better and the warranty is marginally better at 2 years.

Please answer 1 option from the first three questions and 1 from the last two.

First to answer, lol. I’ve run Alpha Rex on both my Raptor truck 4+ years, and my Bronco for 2 years. Not a single issue on either vehicle. A well known vendor on here steers people away from them due to his “they have a weird beam pattern”, yet pushes Morimoto, which seem to go bad more often than not.

On Bronco runs in Baja Bronco owners have come up to me and asked
me if they are Morimotos, I laugh and say I wouldn’t own that headlight with all the problems they have, I run Alpha Rex’s.

Although I don't recommend Morimoto, I believe their warranty is 5 years.

Thanks, very good to hear from someone who actually wheels. The vibration can be hard on stuff, obviously.

I assume you are also happy with the brightness and patterns, highs and lows?

Any personal preference for the Alpha Black vs. Black? I know it is just personal preference. I like the look of the Alpha Black a bit better but don't care for the tinted aspect on the "rings" (if I understand this correctly).

I used them on my 4Runner. One side died within a few months, and after a lot of back-and-forth, they replaced it. The second light died after 1 year, and they refused to replace or repair it. They asked me to buy a new set. no one buys $1400+ set every year.

Lights are very bright, I don’t have any issues with the beam pattern.

Yeah, I definitely liked Alpha black more, and bought them.

Funny story, when I was shopping for them back in the day Sticker Fab was having a great sale on them, and back then they were working with that girl from Buckle Up Buttercup, and I got an additional 6% off, with her code. The lights cost me somewhere around $1200!
