Are you planning to amp them and dsp? Just replacing the speakers and doing nothing else is likely going to result in them sounding worse vs better. Lots of threads on the subject

Memphis Audio PRX4 is what I have on the dash and pods powered by an amp, but they will work with the stock power.(they have a new model out). I like the sound and if you use the Crutchfield site to compare the sound between speakers, you can make a better decision on what sound (speaker ) works best for you. I used the acoustic track as a baseline as my hearing is more tuned to guitar sounds.

In time, I will upgrade them to either Morels Tempos or Audio frog GS42's. My amp can push them and based on the comparison app, the clarity is a bit better. More wants than needs. Crutchfield provides great information and variety. The forum will give you ideas. Budget being the biggest constrain for must of us, but any speaker (mostly) will give you an upgraded sound compared to the base Bronco system.

Now, if you will likely add an amp in the future, spend the money on great front stage speakers. You won't regret it.

Audison APX4 in dash and roll bar. I like the sound, amped by Audison SR5.600. Kicks are APX 6.5 .

I installed 4 Kicker KSC40 coax in the dash and pods this weekend, and left everything else stock. (I also spliced in bass blockers on the dash speakers.) The improvement in clarity and depth over the stock 4” speakers is very nice. I’m happy with this for now. It’s an easy, cost-effective upgrade.

I second the vote for AudioFrog GS42 or Hertz CX100(w/300 Hz bass blockers) if you have the budget. Both of these are clear and crisp (after DSP w/Key 200.4). I got the AudioFrogs and love them, although Installing them is a challenge because the screw holes don't line up with factory holes, so I had to use a washer to hold in the other side.
