Would not surprise me if ADV files for bankruptcy protection.
I am so sorry for everyone involved in this.
My word of advice is take anything said from either side with a grain of salt. APG reply was going so well until they turned childish about where the money could have went but the statement they made was easily fact checked by a few things right here in this forum to prove that statement is filled with lies just as ADV lawsuit might be as well.
Anyone and I mean anyone waiting on a refund or was effected by this should be reaching out and filing a complaint with the California Attorney General. Furthermore when making this complaint I would be making sure both companies are brought up in the complaint (if it were me, as this could be a scheme between the two of them for all you know) EDIT: looking at the complaint form you may have to file two to bring both businesses in if you so choose to do so!

This reminds me, somewhere earlier in this chat someone posted information about a new LLC being formed under Johns name. Someone speculated something like this too suggesting ADV is about to go under, get your refunds now. If only this was a smaller thread. Not riffling through hundreds of pages lolI suspect both ADV and APG have had this outcome planned for months. I think they gave up on production several months ago and have been buying time ever since.
Likely it fell apart when the offshore manufacture (Temu) sent them a clip of their mfg operations with some hardtops, then ADV pawned it off as their own.
Wouldn’t be surprised if ADV files for bankruptcy and dissolves, likely planned out well in advance and don’t be shocked if they have new ventures already in motion.
As for APG, it’s just a guy who leased a shop and does installations, literally nothing more - doesn’t make anything outside of well-edited content.
But heck, what do I know… I’ve only been right about every prediction for the past 2 years.
