I wheel with one of the “beta testers” and so far no issues with the top at all. I am fine with the soft top too so I’m just patiently waiting .

Can you ask if he has the liner in his beta unit ?

No liner on the beta . I personally like the back glass so does the “tester”. The tester said he’s warrantied 6 MIC tops due to cracks and delaminating panels . So far so good with the advanced fiberglass top. I don’t personally know anyone with the AC top so I can’t give you a comparison between the two. I am sure the AC top surpasses the Ford one too in quality and durability

They told me the same thing back in October, and then last week told me the estimated timeframe is now late December / January.

Im just thinking out loud here but my guess is that they are having them built overseas and having big problems with the manufacture and quality control...they must have found out there design had flaws and had to go back to the drawing board?...hence the delay?

It doesn't sound like they are in house building the tops but I could be wrong on that.....would luv to get some intel on this..

I think they are built in-house, with parts from other regions. I don't think this top is built overseas and shipped over. Seems like a huge risk in doing that with potential damage, and large shipping costs, even at a large scale production.
