"We have problems and don't know what to do. We'll push it another month next month".

That is how I would summarize what ADV is telling their customers.

Can you share your thoughts on the AC top now that you’ve had it for 7 months?
The top is made well, fits like the OME top looks better than the OME top. The head liner looks great, leather opposed to felt like material of the OME.

When I put the top on I was coming from a soft top. I just traded in the Bronco with the soft top and have only had my OME hard top for two weeks. The biggest difference “for me” was the AC top had a rattle to it and I couldn’t figure out why. After looking at my OME top it has a rubber seal/strip on the bottom side of the plastic that sits on the finders. The AC top did not have this. I think if I got some weather stripping and put it on the bottom that would solve my rattling problem.

Over all the top is great and I would say better than OME. I would buy it agin if I had a soft top or a defective OME top. The AC top is currently off the bronco and setting in my shop. I am going to see how the OME holds up for now.
Sorry I don’t have any pictures now, I’m at a kids hockey game.

Thanks! Have you shared the feedback around the rattle/weather stripping with AC? They may find that valuable for future builds.

I also have an AC top and my only complaint is that rattle you mention.
Can you better describe where to install the weather stripping, like on the bottom edges of the removable panels? I guess I don’t understand the term “finders” in your post, what/where is that?

Do the AC tops have front sections and a second row section for the 4DRs??? I ask because I remember John (ADV) saying theirs did not have the second row section for just that reason. Make the tops quieter on the road.

Sorry I am typing this on my phone with fat fingers.
So where the rear section sets on the bronco. Along the fender of the vehicle above the tire area along the passenger and driver side. If you raise your top up like you’re going to take it off and look underneath, you’ll see the two tabs that stick out that go into the body of the vehicle and if you look, there’s no weatherstripping on that plastic. If that makes sense.

No I have not. I was trying to really figure out where it was coming from for sure and then I traded in the bronco so I took the top off and I totally forgot about it.

Typo, he meant fenders.
... or what could maybe be called the bedrails if it were a truck.

Traded a Wildtrak in on a B-Raptor. The Wildtrak originally came with a soft top so I put it back on when I traded it. So I still have a bronco just rocking the OME hard top for now. I might put the AC top on the raptor or sell it.
