The top is made well, fits like the OME top looks better than the OME top. The head liner looks great, leather opposed to felt like material of the OME.

When I put the top on I was coming from a soft top. I just traded in the Bronco with the soft top and have only had my OME hard top for two weeks. The biggest difference ā€œfor meā€ was the AC top had a rattle to it and I couldn’t figure out why. After looking at my OME top it has a rubber seal/strip on the bottom side of the plastic that sits on the finders. The AC top did not have this. I think if I got some weather stripping and put it on the bottom that would solve my rattling problem.

Over all the top is great and I would say better than OME. I would buy it agin if I had a soft top or a defective OME top. The AC top is currently off the bronco and setting in my shop. I am going to see how the OME holds up for now.
Sorry I don’t have any pictures now, I’m at a kids hockey game.
Thanks! Have you shared the feedback around the rattle/weather stripping with AC? They may find that valuable for future builds.

I also have an AC top and my only complaint is that rattle you mention.
Can you better describe where to install the weather stripping, like on the bottom edges of the removable panels? I guess I don’t understand the term ā€œfindersā€ in your post, what/where is that?

Do the AC tops have front sections and a second row section for the 4DRs??? I ask because I remember John (ADV) saying theirs did not have the second row section for just that reason. Make the tops quieter on the road.

Sorry I am typing this on my phone with fat fingers.
So where the rear section sets on the bronco. Along the fender of the vehicle above the tire area along the passenger and driver side. If you raise your top up like you’re going to take it off and look underneath, you’ll see the two tabs that stick out that go into the body of the vehicle and if you look, there’s no weatherstripping on that plastic. If that makes sense.

No I have not. I was trying to really figure out where it was coming from for sure and then I traded in the bronco so I took the top off and I totally forgot about it.

Typo, he meant fenders.
... or what could maybe be called the bedrails if it were a truck.

Traded a Wildtrak in on a B-Raptor. The Wildtrak originally came with a soft top so I put it back on when I traded it. So I still have a bronco just rocking the OME hard top for now. I might put the AC top on the raptor or sell it.

And to think you could have put the dollars in a 1-year treasury at 4%+, w/ tax incentives
Guys keep posting about their potential interest they weren't going to get. Inflation was 7+% inflation in 2022 and 3.5% inflation for 2023. With the real rate of return, you would have made less than $200 on $7k. If someone wants to talk about the $1200 they would have made on tsla or the $1900 with aapl doing some real investing, but these guy taunting the pennies for bonds make me laugh out loud.
🤣

Diverse portfolio. Given the markets wild ebb/flow in ā€˜22/ā€˜23, dollar cost avg. the market and park some cash in treasuries/bonds/high yield brokerage accounts. There was still money being made the last 2 years…even with inflation.

Back to this thread, ADV got an interest free loan for R&D.

Didn’t they change that R&D credit for 2022? I thought I had read they had hit it hard.

And absolutely on a diverse portfolio. But that doesn’t change the fact that someone putting $7000 in a treasury bond made less than $200 with inflation and is a non-event in most portfolios. It’s not something to sayā€ i CoUiD mAdE sO mUcH mOnEy

How many people saw that and had a "Wait just a minute..." moment?
I almost did that with my Bronco. Have one of the earlier units that was in the bad engine "hot zone" and was worried early on that I could have a bad one. I was gonna trade it in before anything happened and get a newer one with a MIC, keep the ADV order and when the ADV top arrived (lol) sell the MIC to offset a good portion of the ADV. Didn't end up doing it because during production my unit was pulled for extensive QC testing (apparently they pull a certain number of units to double check quality) and mine has been flawless (knocks on wood) w/o any of the gremlins or QC issues complained about online and in the press.

Side note...this thread is very long but not as long as the "blown engine failure list" thread. That one stands at 290 pages. We have some work to do here fellas :ROFLMAO:.

I'm honestly surprised @CM22 hasn't gotten bombarded with "I'll buy it" replies...
unless, of course he's being bombarded with private messages
