Ask AddictiveDesertDesigns if they're familiar with this document. Or if they've talked to Ford.

Weight is also a consideration. We did a video on fitting the Carli Bronco bumper on our Raptor. I still think it is the best option for weight, winch mount, lighting, clearance.

I’m considering an ADD Bomber front bumper. Reading about how winches can block airflow to the intercooler makes me wonder if anyone has any experience with these, or any opinions based on the location of the integrated lights.TIA

It's a reasonable concern. Another Raptor owner has the DV8 bumper with a winch in front of the intercooler and was having problems. In that same thread, another owner put a light bar in that void and had issues.

Well the winch would block the lower IC a bit... but so do the lights you install there. The upper IC is still open.

I would not worry too much if I were you. The factory bumper blocks most of the lower IC anyway with just a small section (maybe 3" x 3") on each side of the sensor. I think you'd be fine.

BTW we're an ADD dealer so if you are going to order it we can set you up with a bumper and light/winch combo package

Don't worry about blocking the cooling system... oh and buy from us! Seems like solid advice
I've ran ADD bumpers on a few trucks now and never had issues. We have tons of customers without issues. ADD has a TON more customers then us as well, with no issues.

If there were issues they would not sell the bumper.

IF it was a concern, Ford themselves would not sell a bumper that sticks the winch right in front of the lower IC as well.

We're a known and trusted dealer here... do you think we gain customers by lying to them. YA CAUGHT ME. his truck is going to overheat and go up in flames but at least we made a sale!

Ya know not all vendors here are like Crazy Eddie... some of us actually refuse to sell crap products. So anything we sell we trust on our own trucks and trust our customers will be happy with, because you don't stay in business selling customers products that will fail or cause problems with the truck.

I was thinking of this same thread. I think in normal day to day driving it wouldn't be a huge deal, but if you are one who pushes things, you don't want anything to be marginal if you can help it.

I'd also say, just because 99 idiots jump of a bridge and don't die, doesn't make it a good idea. You could be the 100th that wins the lotto and gets thrown into limp mode.

What about a raised intercooler? I see there are some options there, and was considering adding a better intercooler regardless of location.
