Oh it’s a great one! We were in first grade together, friends in high school, but went separate ways. Reconnected 35 years later while I was living in Florida. Made long distance work for 2 years before I was able to sell my house and transfer back to Massachusetts and move in with her. Proposed in a hot air balloon 2 years ago tomorrow (7/3/24), and married last Friday 6/26/26. Love our story.

Nice! My wife and I met in 1st grade (only reason we didn't meet in kindergarten was that I went in the AM and she went in the afternoon) and got married at 19, celebrated 39 years last month! We were in 3rd grade in 1976 (your 1st grade pic looks to be from '76).

That’s fantastic! It really grounds Merideth and I, with shared memories, and familiar locations. She used to cash my checks at the local credit union, and ride around in my 62 Ford Falcon. At our elopement, we had a picnic and opened cards and letters from friends and family, one of them was from our first grade teacher.
