A Pilar wind whistle

Does anyone have instructions on disassembling the a pilar trim. The dealer wants $700 to do the TSB for the wind whistling above 50 mph. They said it needs the sealant at the corner of the windshield. Think it’s tsb 21-2024. They have already had it 3 days for one of the 360 cameras.

I had this whistle and my dealer fixed it under warranty. Unless you are out of warranty, there should be no charge. This is a known issue.

Out of warranty. Has about 44k miles. Was hoping that the aftermarket warranty the dealer added would cover it. 12 month 12k mile bumper to bumper. The Ford dealer said they wouldn’t cover it.

Got it back from the dealer. Still have the noise. First time I took it in it was raining. There was no noise while it was wet driving so they didn’t check it out. Is there something else I need to look at. It seems to me that it’s around the driver side a pilar. Have also tried driving with the mirror folded in. Didn’t change anything.

Curious--what TSB is this, and what years does it cover? My '23 has a whistle; it's brand new, and I just figured that for "welcome to soft top".

24-2021. Mine is 2021 2-door hard top. Bought used about 3k miles ago. Think it covers early builds that they forgot a dap of seam sealer.

Nothing you can do. Got the vehicle back. Paid the bill. Still have whistling noise that is worse now. Must be something around the left mirror since they changed left and right cameras. Couldn’t hear it with window up, but now you can.

Tried tape on all this. Any suggestions. Ran out of time may do along top of windshield tomorrow. Have had the sound with doors and t-top parts off also. And tried without driver side front fender flare.

May have somewhat found the source. Pop the hood latch and drove to 45mph and seemed the whistle was gone. Going to try again after dinner.
