2dr vs 4dr

Just like every single one of the other 8000 2dr vs 4dr posts on this site. Every one of them is a complete waste of time. Just a handful of 2 door owners with something to prove. It's always the smallest groups who make the most noise. For some reason they're all offended by the 4 door existing even though the 2 door would have never been built without the 4 door models to pay for it.

It's like arguing with a rock.

Agree 100% that we wouldn't have the 2 door without the 4 door models. With that being said, if you go back to the beginning of this thread it's the 4 door guys telling us team 2 door people why we are wrong. I get that the 4 door will always sell way more units and are more practical, but I'll be making the payments on mine so I don't really care what anybody else thinks and I'll never tell you what you should buy.

Well, the new 4 door probably wouldn't have even been a reality had it not been for the popularity of the original 2 door so there's that. (pesky fact #1).

Not really sure who's offended by the 4 door, or who has something to prove. I'd say about 99.99% of the comments are just sarcastic, rib poking of one group to another.

One thing you will get from both a 2 door and a 4 door. They all look alike front the front and the back you have to make up your mind about the middle. Flip a coin it's still a bronco.

The question is backward.

2-door feels significantly larger inside than the 4-door. 4-door has little short doors that push the B-pillar right up against your shoulder. 2-door has much longer doors and a roomier cabin.

4-door has more storage, but I don't ride in the storage area.

4-door wins if you want to sleep in it. 2-door wins for daily comfort driving to work.

Are you sure the 2 door has a roomier cabin? That just does not seem to make sense

The doors are 6" longer, and the B-pillar is 6" further back. It's very noticeable.

If you recline the driver's seat way back as to take a nap (or if you drive it like a 70s Camaro), you'll notice the B-pillar, other than that the average person don't notice a difference. No need for an extra 6" of door to get into the driver's seat.

Wait, am I the only 2-door owner that has a kid? My 10 year old is more comfortable back there then in a lot of vehicles. It’s just difficult to get back there. Her and our 60 pound husky love double bucket seats.

I bought the 2-door and never even considered a 4-door. I understand why people buy the 4-door though.

I notice it in the passenger seat when using the armrest on the door. I like the seat all the way back to just relax and chill when she is driving.

Even though I drive a 4 dr, it is cyber orange and I do notice the hotties checking it out quite regularly. Just think if it was a 2 dr!

No, my 6'1" teenage son has no issues with the back either. More room than most sedans. Plus you get a bit more shoulder room in the 2-door due to the 2+2 seating. (and cup holders)

Ahem, that's 65 MUSTANG thank you very much. The 4-door definitely jabs me in the arm if I rest my arm on the window sil.
