The Black Appearance Package looks good on my wife's Mavrick. It has the black roof, hood stripes and the wheels are an upgrade to 19 in. plus the black emblems.
I read your post and thought it was about me.
Ordered a 2 door Outer Banks in Race Red
Changed to a Heritage when it didn't get built
People want to talk about it every time I go out
They argue with me about what year it is
I love this thing more than anything else I've ever owned
The manual...
I get all the Heritage comments
What year is it
Reminds me of my old 72
Looks like my uncle's old Bronco
I've never seen that color combination
My favorite was at a McDonalds drive thru. The young guy at the window said, Sick Bronco dude. Then when he looked over at me he said, and it's a...
That is the best looking color matched top I've seen. The Everglades wheels help complete the look. Some colors work better than others IMO. I wouldn't want one on mine, too much red.
The former factory of The Bantam Car company burned down last night. It was just an old abandoned building but it was still sad to see such a historic part of our town's history destroyed. Most people think Willys invented the Jeep but the government gave Bantam's plans to Willys and Ford...
A 25 Outer Banks with a hard top, Sasquatch and Lux package is over 60k so what will this cost? I'd guess 70 at least, and markups if it's limited. A shameless money grab for something that pays zero homage to the original.
23 Heritage manual, my only issue is allowing extra time any time I go out because people still want to talk about it. I never see any other Heritage models so no other Broncos around here look like mine.
I asked for a 5 tire rotation at my last service visit and when I got home I noticed a message from my service tech with a video introducing himself. He told me what he had done with my Bronco and specifically mentioned rotating my spare. He asked if I would be so kind as to give him a good...
It was my understanding that the current painted tops were the same construction as the original modular tops. I have not heard of any problems with any mod tops, mine is still perfect.
As @Ducati1098 stated this is a completely different top and I don't recall one complaint about one cracking. I know the one on my heritage is perfect and the paint is beautiful still after more than a year. Maybe one of the guys from dealerships can chime in on any warranty issues with the mod top.
It's really more than that, it's just a better top and is made with a completely different material. The top is heavier and does not have the cardboard type core the mic top does. It has a smooth surface with a super nice glossy finish and by most accounts is quieter than the mic top too. I also...
