I just got notified this morning that my 7MT Badlands is scheduled for the week of July 21, 2025. Ordered 11/13/24 from Granger. What's another couple months? Only been 7 months thus far.

Got the call yesterday and took delivery this afternoon. Ordered 11/27/24, In production 4/30, Built 5/02, shipped 5/04, delivered 5/13 in Minnesota. The 7-speed was definitely worth the wait.

Great looking rig! Is that Carbonized Grey?

Our M/T build and another almost identical to it have both been in production for 14 days. Neither has the Sasquatch package but they both are High/Lux with MIC tops and leather trimmed seats. I'm wondering if there is a supply constraint on some component of the High/Lux or the leather upholstery.

We are getting to the point where we may have to walk from our order - we're leaving in the middle of June for three months. I have looked at about 25 Broncos on the order tracker that have been delivered to Western Canada this year, using VINs and order numbers I pulled from on line window stickers. It's about four weeks from the time a unit is built until it's delivered to Calgary.

Correct, carbonized grey with paint matched top. That’s weird about the scheduling delay, I spec’ed mine with the Lux package as well as the leather, so I don’t know if those options are the culprit. Apart from the top, it sounds like our builds are pretty much identical. Did you order a 2-door?

No, four door.

Exact same issue at this thread, where I have a reply. You and I have the same vehicle, except for MIC top and Raptor Running Boards. I have confirmed it's not the running boards that's the holdup.

Lots of content in this thread...

I'm in the "I would NOT have bought the Bronco if it didn't have a manual transmission" camp. Zero interest in an automatic, none.

Funny to see people mentioning scheduling delays of several months. 676 days for my 2022, so a few months doesn't seem so bad!

When I was researching 4WD cars late last year, my understanding was that you can switch into 4H when you hit snow, but you have to go back to 2H once you're on bare pavement again. This could be annoying on patchy roads. The auto 4WD system is more like AWD, from what I understand, so it won't have to be actively managed and will keep itself in 2H when its not needed.

I'm in the upper peninsula so not only does it get snowy as hell here in general, in some storms you'll have 6+ inches at higher elevations slightly inland with a light dusting closer to the lake. That's the type of situation where I just want to put it in 4A and not have to think about it.
I'm from the UP originally, where it wasn't really a problem to just leave a truck in 4H (all the roads were covered with ice anyway). And if you wanted to switch between 2H and 4H you'd still have locked hubs. But I ordered with 4A so I could just tell my daughters (one of whom lives in Michigan) to put it in 4A and forget about it. I wouldn't have a problem going between 2H and 4H, but I'm not 100% sure others would remember.

Just my two cents living in another very snowy climate (Quebec): you don't need 4A. I had similar thoughts, but I have to say my Big Bend did great this winter and I often find that the switching between 2H and 4H is not an annoyance at all. I drove both country and city, both hilly and by the water, for more context.

One advantage of the automatic that isn't to be overlooked is the remote start. My BB lives outside, and I will say that on the freezing mornings, being able to walk into a warm car with the heated seats on, is huge. Also from what I hear, the heated steering wheel is a bit lackluster. I will say, I never once said to myself "I wish I had the heated wheel," given how the cabin heats up with remote start. The heated seats could bake a potato 😂
Same as my response above, I wanted 4A so other drivers could "set it and forget it."

As for getting the automatic in order to get remote start, well that's what the engine block heater is for! At least when leaving from home, which is the coldest start of the day. Car definitely warms faster, because it's already partially warm. Easier on the engine and the driver! Versus a remote start which is still a cold start for the engine.

They quit offering MT’s in the off rodeo’s because people would burn up the clutches.
Very sad. I got to drive a manual transmission Bronco at the Austin Off-Roadeo, when that was the only site. I think you'd have to be a pretty bad driver to burn up the clutch. With 4L and the crawler gear (when needed), it felt like cheating it was so easy.

Hang in there guys. The 7MT is totally worth it and is hands-down the easiest and most forgiving MT I've ever driven. I love mine and would have regretted compromising for a automatic.

It's worth the wait...382 days for me and I wouldn't change a thing.
Not sure what "most forgiving" means in this context. Relative to other manual transmission vehicles I've driven, I would charitably describe the Bronco's manual as "below average." There's nothing wrong with it, but then again there's nothing really right about it, either, it's just mushy and imprecise. At least compared to other manual transmission vehicles I've owned. The Tremec in my Cadillac is *really* good, for example, just a joy to use. I still love it because it is a manual, and that's always more engaging that an automatic for me. But it's nothing to brag about.

My Heritage Edition MT has been in production for two weeks. My salesman said there is a Quality Check. It has been that way for at least a week. He is going to try and see what is holding it up. He is able to see that it has 3.4 miles on it, and what the actual tire pressures are. Crazy.

Unfortunately, been there, done that. Mine was in limbo for almost a month before being listed as “built”.

Looks like May 2nd was the magic day. Was able to check another Badlands and it's stuck as of May 6th.

I wouldn’t treat the Ford customer order tracking system as gospel. Mine went built/released status two weeks ago and never showed as shipped. Dealer saw the same thing. It magically appeared at the dealer Monday.
