Hello All -

Does anyone have accurate information on when '25 models will start arriving on dealer lots?

My dealer says he may not receive dealer stock units until February / March. He is encouraging me to put in a custom order to get in the queue because it will be "difficult" to secure one off the lot for a while. I'm trying to figure out if this is accurate, or if the dealer rep just wants to boost his January sales numbers.

I'd prefer to hold off on a custom order because: (1) I want to see the new paint / interior / hard top options in real life before making a decision (vs. relying on virtual configurator images...), and (2) I am concerned if I put in a custom order it could be delayed for any number of reasons.

I don't need a new truck until April / May time frame, and I can afford to wait a few months to ensure I choose a color I am happy with. I'd rather buy something off the lot in a few months vs. ordering now and risking late delivery / buyer's remorse on color/options. ANY advice or thoughts are welcomed and appreciated!

My guess he's looking to boost his sales numbers. The demand isn't what it was a year or two ago...If you're not 100% sure in what you want I'd wait it out.

You can always order and if you don't like it then walk away, just make sure you have a refundable deposit.

Sounds like they are done scheduling for February and the plant will only be open the last two weeks of March. Add in 4 weeks for delivery and if you are ordering and want your new Bronco by May you will probably need to put one in pretty quick.

i think the very first 25s were built the last week of January so wouldn’t think there would be any on lots until March at the earliest??? Seems like production has been scaled back quite a bit so not sure how many will be out there on lots initially.

I ordered a Badlands this past weekend and was told 8-12wks minimum but realistically should expect it around the April/May timeframe. After waiting over 2yrs on the last one I ordered, this should be a piece of cake. Hahaha

February/March is likely accurate.

Delivery times vary widely based on where the dealer is located and shipping schedules. Western New York is probably around 2-4 weeks on average, while eastern New York around Albany is around 3-5 weeks.

Ford prioritizes custom orders ahead of dealer stock units, so depending on how many custom orders your dealer has, and what exactly those orders were for... they may not see a very many stock units until spring.

So by that logic, I suppose some dealers in Michigan near the factory will get units sooner... maybe late January?

I don't really need to see a '25 model in person in New York to make an informed decision. I really just need to see some actual photos (not computerized renderings!) from a customer or a dealer website.

If I could just get my hands on images of a Marsh Gray or Desert Sand Outer Banks w/ black painted hard top + the truffle interior... that would give me more comfort before ordering. Each of those options are brand new this year so its tough to know how they will really look!

I imagine as soon as the first dealerships get their shipments those pictures will start popping up.

Yup.

Final assembly is scheduled to begin the week of Jan 26th last I heard. Subject to change obviously, but assuming that holds the last week of January would be the absolute earliest.

But, Ford often holds the initial builds for a more thorough quality check and doesn't ship them right away... so my bet is February.

I ordered a few days before the end of the year and the dealer says it hasn't been scheduled yet.

Oh yeah. I was just giving a data point on things as they are now.

I've actually waited well over a year for my Bronco for reasons having nothing to do with Ford, but that's not relevant here.

we’re wanting the same probably a marsh gray OBX with the truffle interior. We’re still waiting on seeing marsh gray in person, but the f150s and rangers have started hitting the lots and they have that color. We also went and drove a ‘24 wild track because it has the exact same interior as the new ‘25 truffle.
