I have done as much searching as I can and have run in to a road block. I have decided my direction, a new mono block amp and retrofitting an 8" Sub in to the factory enclosure. I know what I need to do in Forscan to get it turned on. I would like to get the plug to connect to the factory wiring harness. From that plug I will hook up the power turn on and the audio signal wires. Power will come direct from the battery and I will do a direct ground. I know I can get this from places like Enfig Audio, but he has got to buy the plug from somewhere. Is their a known source to buy the plug direct.

Also, are the audio signal wires powered or more like RCA plugs. So if I find the plug, will tie in RCAs or just direct signal wires.

Thanks

It's a waste of money. Sadly there is no way to save money on this I wasted few hundred playing around with it.

Just get a decent loaded amplified enclosure that can all handle high level signals and are perfectly tuned enclosures.

Or a DSP amp bridge couple channels for the sub and get all speakers active. With base audio is simple plug and play I've got a great DSP amp in classifieds cheap.
