At an absolute minimum, you should save copies of all your stock module data before you go in and start making changes. Follow the process detailed here. It only takes about 15 minutes and might save you a lot of pain in the future.
I did save a copy of the original to my desktop, but most of the stuff I tried to program just went back to the original numbers anyway. The only things I successfully changed were the auto start stop, and the double honk when you exit the vehicle with your fob. I’d still like to turn off the chimes when you open the door and when you start the engine, the seatbelt warning, and maybe add rock crawl mode. None of those worked for me.

Yes we are all having the same issues writing to IPC module (the one that is used for chimes). I am going to purchase a license and contact FORScan support team, others have said this worked for them. Otherwise, wait what could be months (or longer?) for them to release a free update that fixes it.

I can’t figure out how I’m supposed to contact them. It says go to [email protected], but that just takes me back to the page that told me to go there.

edit: never mind, it actually worked when I clicked on the link in my own post.

I haven't even looked at forscan because my Bronco isn't even on the horizon. But I just checked, and the corner of their website you can get a free trial of their extended license (So if you just want to do maybe a one-time change and be done on a 2022)

And it looked like their extended license is only $10 for the year. Hell I just paid $25 for JScan.

So purchasing a license, fixes the issues with 2022, seems like that's a no-brainer.

You really only need a license to get support. The developers gave @1972and2022 permission to share the link to the beta version, which he did in another post. That being said, I purchased the 3 year extended license to show support for the project.

And you are supporting a community of developers that are bringing vehicle mods to the next decade when a wrench an a screwdriver are no longer sufficient.

I bought it months ago as well. For crying out loud, we are spending thousands of dollars on mods, we can afford a $30 license to Forscan. Pretty cheap investment if you ask me.

I'm going to wait until their latest Forscan version is out of test mode before trying my mods again. I've waited this long, I think I can wait another month or so.
test mode works - I don't have the patience to wait ;-) Not many code changes when looking at the size of the file from the production version.

forscan erroir - 1.jpeg
Any and every issue I had with forscan so far has been solved. I purchased the extended license then sent forscan an email. They replied with a test version, not yet published. This solved all my issues like service procedure interruption and unable to connect.

I tried the test mode. Got everything out of it I couldn’t get before. No issues. I was able to add Baja and Rock Crawl and change the crossbar drl to amber.

hey guys, I can also confirm with version 2.3.47 I was able to add sport mode. can anyone confirm if sport mode turns on 4Auto? Is it safe to drive in 4A or should I manually switch to 2H?
From my understanding, Sport mode will engage 4A. It's not harmful to drive in 4A, but I would make it a practice to manually switch to 2H after engaging Sport mode if you don't need 4WD.

Great to hear 2.3.47 fixed the issue with MY22s!

I have successfully added Sport Mode to my 2022 Badlands along with other changes.

As has been noted before, you need to buy the extended license for Forscan and send them a help ticket with your errors.
Which OBDLink did you buy?

Several thousand of miles in 4A sport mode (as in more than 5,000 miles). I consider it safe enough, although, it could be one of those things that makes the transfer case last only 30,000 miles instead of 300,000 miles. I don't know about extreme long term, however, nothing in the manual about not running it that way.
