Two finger removal I like that....No filter or at least a screen? Looks expensive.
That's a completely different fuel tank for .. something. But does illustrate well how the pump assembly goes in, that's very similar

That's a completely different fuel tank for .. something. But does illustrate well how the pump assembly goes in, that's very similar
My pictures are 6G parts. There's usually a little sock on the pick up for filtration, inside the plastic bucket.

I would have thought there would be some kind of screen

You said the pump was removed from the top right? So if the top and bottom are open what keeps the fuel inside?
I don't think the disconnect the tank from connection that feeds the motor. Drop the tank and take out the pump from the top, is my understanding.

I could be wrong....
