I get some of the wildest responses from Ford Chats honestly haha.....
Just imagine if your job was Ford chat (a chatter perhaps?) and you had to deal with 100's of you a day!?

I talked to my dealer and they said they unless the battery dies they should be able to know where it sits with VINVIEW. He said they have had a (very) few just show up at the dealership but they all had dead batteries.
My dealer apparently doesn't even know what VINVIEW is...

Alright NC folks, I caved after having a Scooby snack. My bronco is currently "in a mixing center/ramp ready for unloading in Winston-Salem". Looks like a truck from there to Raleigh, so fingers crossed it stays on track for this week.

12/3 Build*

I regret looking, I'll probably be more impatient now haha.

Mine has been at the rail yard for a week now. @Baja71 was on the same train and took delivery of his Bronco a couple days ago.

I wonder if the dealer contracts this last leg of transport, or Ford.

Ford has a partnership with Hansen & Adkins auto transport. Sorry you’re still waiting. So frustrating.

Mine has been sitting at a rail yard 50 miles from my dealer for over a week too. It was supposed to be delivered last Wednesday and United doesn’t know why it’s sitting there or when it will be picked up. So close. That said, first world problem so I’m still thankful and excited to finally get it.

Whoa! Rare sighting of empathy on B6G?! 😲

I used to work call center and I can imagine the grief they get from folks. I'm sure they are just relaying what they've been told to relay. Still frustrating that none of us can get a simple "your bronco is in [enter location here]"

What was your blend date?? When did you ask to know you were on chip hold?
Blend 11/17. Called ford and they told me it’s on chip hold. It is built now and awaiting shipping

I ended up having a build date of 12/02
Never got a shipped notification from Ford, just my dealership tracked it for me the entire way.
Delivered to the dealership on 12/15 and picked up yesterday, 12/19.

OMG! This thing is awesome!!!
Had a 45 mile drive home in mixed roads (back roads and highway).
Braking I have to get used to and plan a bit more than I'm used to (under 3000lb GTI with a big brake kit and a Porsche 911 also with a big brake kit). Maybe the Bronco will have a big brake kit in the near future :ROFLMAO:
Effortless to drive once I settled in and got used to being so high. I love the feeling of everything. The vehicle is alive and buzzing. Interior noise is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned. I was on the phone talking with the wife on the way home and didn't realize I was doing 70mph on the highway.

Yes, the wife's 2022 X3 is a very similar color (Brooklyn Grey Metallic) to my Cactus Grey.
Next to each other, her car has more of a blue hue whereas the Bronco has some green. They do look similar, but different at the same time. She's not happy with my color choice, but Cyber Orange was discontinued and I really do not like any of the other colors available.

All-in-all, I'm blown away. My wife asked if I'm going to like this since I'm used to sports cars (I've owned Jeeps in the past). Yes, it is the utter antithesis of what I've been driving and it's EXACTLY what I wanted. I can't wait to push this thing off-road and take the roof and doors off in the summer.

I tracked my rail car that chat gave me. it went to oak wood MI. Then showed up in Toledo. No traveling through Ohio but says on a flat car. Does that make sense

I purchased through Haldeman Ford.
The owner is a personal friend and he used a cancelled order from someone else to get my order in (the original order holder no longer wanted the vehicle, so he kept the order in and gave it to me). So, there's no price protection. He said if it did have it, he would have given it to me. It's coming from Ford, so he just does what the system tells him.

Not that anyone really cares, but now the tracker is showing 12/16-12/23 window. Getting bounced around like I’m driving a solid front axle 4x4.
Aaaaaaaaand, now my delivery window is updated again, showing 12/26-1/1 delivery. That’s the third time I’ve been bounced around on a delivery window. I’ve never had such a hard time trying to give tens of thousands of dollars to a company.
