I think some people just don't like negotiating either. Makes them uncomfortable in the moment or whatever the case may be.Dealerships will typically start out with inflated prices trying to snag a whale. I've got some friends who are very nice, but bad with money, and have strong desire for material things. That's a combo of which dealerships are itching to take advantage.
People like that have no business setting foot on a car lot without a friend to talk sense into them and help with hard nosed negotiating.
I on the other hand went south with my original stealership on my FE over $100. S'ok I still got a FE used and the original db didn't get a penny from me (though he probably got 10k more from someone else).
