This looks like All vehicles built with the HOSS 3.0 steering rack. So for those of you who have added it to your Bronco, you might want to check with the dealer for a fix.

I have. Oct 22 build with H3 and VINs not listed. Dealer said if it’s not listed, it’s not recalled. Must not be all - or they haven’t gotten to recalling all

It’s only 351 vehicles. Most won’t be affected. It’s not every vehicle in the build dates.

Blend date or build date is located on the window sticker. If you don't have the stick you can go to the trackers icon above and search for your sticker using your VIN. Vehicle below was built on June 7, 2021.

Blend date and build date are not the same. But this is probably the best way to get a close estimate of build date without calling your dealer to ask.
Build date is typically 1-3 days after blend.

Argh, I went to the URL (https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=XYZ) to get my sticker, and it says "The window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle.", which is BS because I have the car and the same URL worked a 100 times when I was checking on the delivery of it. Anyone else have that problem getting their sticker?

The first time I was able to see my window sticker, straight to the desktop it went. My build date was Dec. 22 2022, received it on Feb 13 2023 My vin is not on the list.

It cant be all. There were a lot more than 300 some odd vehicles (WT and Raptor) made during the two periods listed..

I want to know how 2 four door 2.3 liter Broncos WITHOUT the advanced 4x4 transfer case ended up with HOSS 3.0 steering racks?

The first 2 Broncos are 1FMDE5BH Bronco VINs. It wouldn't surprise me if they were manual transmission Broncos either.

That's even more strange, unless some 2.0 racks were also affected. This would suggest an assembly line issue versus a rack specific issue.

But the recall specifically says Wildtrak and Raptor. Obviously neither of which can have a 2.3.

Recall has been updated to include repair parts and labor information. Also the few incorrect 2.3L VIN’s have been removed from the affected VIN list.

Recall also now states that service parts were NOT affected by this.
