100% agree with “HotdogThud”, live in valley and AC is very strong, it cools off pretty quickly with hardtop. I have 2dr but there’s not a whole lot more space in 4dr to where I wouldn’t think it would be a noticeable difference.

I’ve been pondering for a while now about lining it with kilmat and then using spray adhesive with some light marine carpet. Not sure how much quieter it would be and would probably add about 20lbs to the top. I’m still pondering….🤔

Maybe try a local junkyard or pick-a-part. Probably would be much cheaper than having to buy whole assembly for the one piece. Just a thought?

I don’t have a sub, but when I installed the Kicker Key in mine, I had like a static popping sound coming from speakers and turned out I had the radio detect push button in wrong position. Honestly can’t remember if it’s in or out. But that fixed mine.

Haven’t had issues like this myself, but many threads on here with similar issues often point to a declining battery. Since you took it to dealer, I would like to assume they checked battery??

Normal for mine too…….been doing it since I bought it. I always assumed it was some kind of fuel prime or coolant system. Pretty sure it’s not associated with connectivity.

Battery starting to get weak??

I found my rattles were from the black grill on drvsd tailgate to be my culprit. I pulled it off and put some felt tape along the whole inside edge and it solved it for me. I’ve also noticed change in temps from summer to winter cause other rattles or make them go away. I’m assuming that’s due...

Ahhhh…..ya that’s what I was wondering. I’ve been thinking of using those same holes for Fire Extinguisher Sticks but still trying to figure out what I want to use. I think I’ll just use some Velcro strap with washer or other type of backing plate where the screws will penetrate the Velcro...

If you’re wanting to paint them to match, you should really check out “Automotive Touchup” . They will use factory paint code and you can get it in aerosol spray cans as well as touch up jars. I have painted flares(OBX), and they do get chipped. I have actually been contemplating getting them...
