For what itās worth, continued repeated use of WD-40 on the rubber seals will eventually make them gummy and will need to be replaced sooner than if using silicone base.

If Plastic Chrome spray paint wonāt do it for you( Iāve found it comes out more silver than chrome) you could always get them wrapped in āChromeā vinyl.
Just a thought, but if you bought it from a Ford dealer, I would kindly tell your salesman tool kit is not in vehicle and see if they will do you a solid and get you one. Worked for meā¦ā¦ā¦..Worth a shot
I would probably check with another tire shop and see if they say the same thing. Out of curiosity, are those the original tires that came on it? To me they look older than 4 years?
Visit a local vinyl graphic shop, most can make anything exactly the way you want. If you donāt have a local shop, Im sure you could find an online graphics shop that will ship to you.
