Yup, this exactly. The wireless charger is junk and basically just turns your phone into an oven. Plus the heat will shorten your battery life long term. I’d love to just disable it but there doesn’t seem to be a way to, even with pulling fuses

Ah it’s all good! No worries at all, happy to at least get the GWM and TCM updates done. I’ve been putting off doing all the available updates to my dad’s Tremor anyway, so the license will still be put to good use. Hopefully they release that eventually! Will definitely check in later on to see.

Alright finished off that Gateway update, which released a Telematics update. Got that one done as well, and now nothing. Next step would be to get with Jesse?

China gets a totally different version of Sync (I actually think it isn't even called Sync), but it's been seen on some other Chinese Ford products. Looks interesting, but we'll never see it here in the States I'd guess. EDIT: Apparently it's called Sync+, I lied...

It's probably just a GVWR thing, same as why you can't option it from the factory on Badlands with the 2.7. I've been running the OEM rack for two years though, no problems.
