That is true but not every dealer does that, actually only a few. My Wrangler builds were all still quite a bit more expensive even if I went that route.

Its why I got my Base, the Sport doesn’t compare so you have to jump up to the Sport S and once you start adding options it’s like $7k more for something smaller and doesn’t drive as well. Ford pricing increases close the gap some but I have a feeling with the upgrades Jeep will be doing that...

This is what I’ve been doing. They told me that if the noise got significantly worse or I was having performance issues to drop it back off but I could keep driving it until the parts came in.

Yeah it’s why I’m selling my 315s I had on my Base with the manual. 6th was basically useless and caused more boost than 5th especially on the highway. I think 33’s will be the sweet spot without changing the gearing.

I’ll be curious to what the pricing and options are. Value and drive quality is what made me purchase the Bronco over the Wrangler but it’s not like I don’t like the Wrangler.

Unless you have areas that rattle now I wouldn’t worry about it. The more panels you remove the more likely they are to rattle as the plastic and metal clips wear.

The AT4X will probably perform better too, and the ZR2 will likely be $10k cheaper than this Raptor.

Yeah I’m just playing. Moral of the story is that the manual transmission does not get the same amount of R&D and QC time during development as the automatic transmission hence the issues with them across different manufacturers.

I’d suggest not buying and getting a manual Wrangler instead, they haven’t had three recalls for the same thing so you should be good.

It’s been to the dealer and documented. Waiting on TSB parts. No performance issues here just noise so far which appears to be the most common issue. If performance / failure was a widespread issue you’d see a recall.

Seems like most people (at least on here) that have had the full transmission replaced end up having the noise again. Other than random internet screenshots, I don’t think anyone who’s posted in this thread has had the TSB done and had the noise come back, or I missed it since I don’t follow...
