I almost made a new thread but glad I searched first.
I have a 2023 with a MT and 2.3 and I got back from running errands for a few hours Sunday. Noticed when accelerating from a light with mild to medium acceleration that I can hear a buzzing noise, and it sounds electronic. Now that I heard...
I love how 20% of the posts on this forum are people removing / cutting off parts that have been engineered for their vehicle yet the person removing them doesn’t have a clue what it does or assume it hasn’t been through a durability test. Lol
Take the wheel weights off and valve stems too. When it’s rebalanced you’ll have a little silver spot if you don’t.
And fyi I’ve never sanded have had good luck. Since you already have the tires off I’d suggest looking for a local powder coater, likely run $400-$600 to do that to all 5 wheels.
Probably the gauges. The analog speedo should be an analog tach, otherwise I’m fine with the size / digital readout.
Not sure I like where the power window buttons are or the e-brake.
Newest recall is for the pressure plate overheating and fracturing (flying apart). I believe the first or second recall was related to overheating as well and the solution was to program the torque management so it wouldn’t.
I’d take a annoying noise and eventual fix over 3 tries to fix...
Coming back to this thread every few days you’d think that every manual transmission in every Bronco is so bad the owner cannot shift, drive, or otherwise do anything with it. Oh and the replacement transmission / components of their broken and inoperable Broncos are back ordered indefinitely...
I’m sure it’s nice but will likely fall behind in basically every category to the GM twins besides power. But if you like racing your off road vehicles stop light to stop light it will likely be the correct choice.
Build date on my 2023 Base was 12/19 and I have the sub. I assumed I didn’t based on this thread but checked my window sticker and it says it has the 7-speaker system. Looked in the back and it sounds like I do too.
We got some snow last night so I was out playing in it with the Bronco today. Was a good 6-8 inches of wet snow plus drifting. The tractor I was plowing snow with got stuck and I was able to pull it out of the ditch with the Bronco.
It’s still very impressive to me with Base wheels / tires in...
I feel like if you can turn the rotational knob for the goat modes or you know push any other button in the interior I feel like pushing one more isn’t of an inconvenience?
I need to call the dealer and see if they have estimates on when the back ordered parts will be in. I feel like it’s been a couple months now since they ordered them for my 2023.
Edit: Sounds like all parts are in except for 2. They said looks like one will be here next week but there’s the...
Most of the JL and JT diesels I was looking at last summer are still for sale on lots. I want to assume it’s the vehicle price point and not price per gallon. It’s hard to say yes to $45k-$65k that have less standard features than a $33k Base Bronco.
