The ST and the RS were VERY different animals from a powertrain standpoint. Lots of complex AWD tech and a very iffy tune on the RS created a host of problems that weren’t there for the ST
Exactly. Government protection of dealerships that forbid the customer to purchase from the lowest price option (the factory) is crony capitalism. Flies in the face of actual capitalism.
It’s the cheapest solution. Remember, if you get mad and cancel your reservation they’ll just sell it to someone else, and this way they don’t have to do anything.
That thing was truly a concept car. Just not production at all. It was straight up dirty to show that at the “reveal” and act like that’s what they were making.
