This isn’t entirely true though. Ford COULD build more reservation base or low feature vehicles. The reservations are there. However, they told a dealer they’d get 35 Broncos and are sticking to that commitment. That specific dealer doesn’t have enough low dollar orders to fill so they get...
I know this is beaten to death, but Ford filling allocation commitments over reservation commitments is absurd. I will never buy a non-Bronco Ford because of this one decision (ok, maybe a bit the X-Plan screw job too).
and I mean that. I will NEVER buy a non-Bronco Ford. Hard stop.
Question for new cactus gray Bronco owners…
what is your impression after a week or so? Are there times it looks greenish or blueish? Or do you mostly see gray? Other impressions? is It a chameleon in person like it seems in photos?
I’ve used swirl producing car washes almost exclusively on every vehicle I’ve owned without regret. The very thought of hand washing a vehicle makes me cringe. But I’ve waited too long to do that with my Bronco.
will a good ceramic coating protect enough to use the drive through wash without...
I have an October reservation and want to upgrade to Lux on my BL With 2.7L. Keeping with the MIC. I assume waiting until the MY22 pricebook is released is just fine (September-ish). Correct?
I’d go Badlands, though I’m going to face this same decision when the 2022 B&P is released. Not that I expect much change to either model, but more because I’ll need to resubmit my order anyway.
if I decide that I gotta have 35s, well, not sure what I’ll do.
If they make the aftermarket MIC affordable for reservation holders, I’ll change to soft top and just relax about the whole thing. I couldn’t get through this whole thread, so does anyone know what a MIC might cost if I opt for a soft top and conversion kit?
The only real concern is galvanic corrosion. Paint is an adequate buffer between steel and aluminum. Steel fasteners also can be plated or galvanized to help prevent corrosion between the two dissimilar metals. Both surfaces can and do break down under poor conditions. I rate It as a very...
The longer I wait, the more I upgrade my order. I already decided to go from High to Lux. Considering SAS on my Badlands, but will wait to see both in person.
I have reasonable Covid adjusted expectations. Initially thought January at the latest. Now I just want my Bronco before next summer. Updates like this are encouraging toward that hope. Thanks
He’s a jerk and I’ll never forgive him for taking away X-Plan in his first few months on the job. If he personally called me to invite me up to Michigan on the company jet, gave me keys to a free brand new fully loaded Bronco Badlands, the first thought in my head as I finished waving to drive...
I think the price tag will go up once Ford finishes working through reservations. Yes, there is reliability risk. But there is also excess demand. I think dealers will mark these up with few deals to be had. I can see driving my Bronco for 5 years and selling for $5k less than I paid.
I bet...
i think it will look nice with the fancy pants trims. Lots of people want a dressed up Bronco and this goes nicely with painted door handles and fenders. I’d definitely get it with an OBX.
think it would look out of place on any model with plastic fenders and door handles.
