The updates were so needed, I just assumed they were a Ford āplantā for the forum. Iāve thought that with a few other posters.
Ford canāt overtly endorse, but I guarantee they appreciate the good will it brought. Similarly, they canāt officially endorse that either. Tough spot.
Pretty clear new options will be managed through the dealer. This indicates the MY22 B&P will reflect new pricing. I wonder if they keep the 2021 B&P up for reservations. Doubtful IMO. Take your screen shots now.
Another point, companies try to hide or veil their markup. Fine, customers can see MSRP increases, but they donāt like it being easy to do a line by line comparison because it gives competitors insight in to their pricing strategy and customer leverage in negotiations. I know this because Iāve...
This brings up a good point. How will B&P handle price protection? Orders after 3/19 will not be price protected. Those prices my friends are going up. Bigly. 2 price books? Different B&P access point?

They said it wouldnāt be available. As we all know, you can place an order or price out many things on the B&P that wonāt be delivered during the upcoming model year, like everything on the B&P inclusive of the entire Bronco.
I know, times are rough and how dare you and all that. Next month Iāll be able to overhaul my spec any way I want. I already plan on changes (like upgrading to Lux). I plan to price out all models from OBX up. Some hopes:
likely:
1. MIC added to the accessories⦠and priced.
2. Colors...
My question on MIC aftermarket price was addressed. A great followup would have been, if they donāt have a price now, then when? A reasonable price would drive soft top orders more than any other single thing. Thereās a saying in product marketing circles, āitās about price stupid.ā...
The āto 2023ā part of that price protection comment seems ominous. What happens if I stick to my original order and it pushes to 2023? Will price protection cease?
My guess is they need a hard top redesign. The top as designed simply isnāt feasible to manufacture without constant QA issues.
Worst case - Not only will this be a delay, the new top will sacrifice features.
dealer has the 32ā MTs on a Badlands next to a Wildtrak. I have to admit, it has me questioning the standard 33ā KOs. Those 35s look a lot better, more than I was expecting.
Iām excited to see the (likely few) new options for MY22. Iāve known for months that Iāll be getting one next year. As long as I get mine before summer, Iām happy. As an October Granger reservation, Iām starting to think thatās unlikely.
What I like about this video is how well it highlights the value of different mods. Many Bronco owners (not me) want to tackle trails like this. They now see theyāll need at least a 2ā lift and maybe 37s to take that hard line at the end.
We now have two real world rock crawling comp videos...
