  1. VELOCITY BLUE Bronco Club

    That time of year fellas.
  2. Debating on 2.3 vs 2.7 engine?

Ill poke around. I haven't heard of any myself, aside from the vehicles I work on, and it's mostly faulty injectors from the factiory, and the buildup on the DI Fits, no cylinder head issues.
  3. Debating on 2.3 vs 2.7 engine?

Plenty of DI vehicles on the roads these days, and I haven't heard of any of them needing valve jobs. Ive walnut blasted some Honda Fit valves for carbon deposits causing issues, but no serious head issues, yet.
  4. Debating on 2.3 vs 2.7 engine?

2.3 is fine in the Broncos. I chose 2.3 because I wanted the 7mt. Makes plenty of power for me. Add some premium fuel for a few extra ponies, or the Ford tune.
  5. Getting nervous about 2.7 Engine failures issues

Put in 4lo, clutch bomb in crawl. It's a secret drivetrain reset procedure.
  6. My Badlands capable daily driver (Heretic) build

Prepping @TeocaliMG 's diff drop kit. Hope to install it this week. Of course I rattle canned it orange to match that Badlands style.
  7. MPG-what am I doing wrong?

Not doing anything wrong. These rigs are blocky and fat, and will not have as high mpg compared to other vehicles. That being said, your driving habits also play a role. Easy gas, easy brake, stay out of boost. If I'm trying, I can get 18.5mpg in my Badlands 7mt with bigger tires. Saw 20mpg...
  8. Bronco Market Share down to 25%, while Jeep is 40% and 4Runner 35%

It sounds crazy that Ford dealers are so backed up that owners are waiting weeks to months to get their rig fixed. Meanwhile, the not Ford dealer I work for, pushes us to crank out all the appointments same day. Course Ford has a much larger fleet compared to Honda's 8 rig lineup.
  9. Bronco Market Share down to 25%, while Jeep is 40% and 4Runner 35%

Do the competitors have rear cup holders? Ill bet that's the problem.
  10. 2.3 Bronco Engine fire 😭

Sorry to hear about the fire, but that's good it is repairable. I'm curious as to what actually caused the fire. Radiator or intercooler sounds pretty unlikely. Maybe a random piece of paper sat on the exhaust for a bit and lit up. I had a car come in to the shop a while back. "Car cranks but...
  11. Meet Frank! 3-Trim FrankenBronco Build

Nice ride! I like the license plate, haha.
  12. VELOCITY BLUE Bronco Club

    Drizzly Easter day down here.
  13. Jeep offered SAS???

    Aftermarket option.
  14. Bronco Horse Emblem - where to place?

I say the hubcaps, that way the horses look like theyre rolling down the street. Not sure where else on the exterior the horses would look good. I think one on the tailgate is sufficient. Put one up at work, to show the love.
  15. 2.3 Bronco Engine fire 😭

A power steering flush. Gotta get fresh EPS fluid in that rack, and some fresh smoke for the motor wires.
  16. Rock Krawler Pro-X 4-Link Rear Conversion -- install, test, and review

Interesting. Just a characteristic of the 5 link setup maybe? Great video. I remember RK saying a while back that they were working on big things, game changers for the Bronco.
  17. Rock Krawler Pro-X 4-Link Rear Conversion -- install, test, and review

Is that "kick" the modified roll center after lifting the Broncos? After lifting mine I noticed more body roll(no rear sway bar), until I added the RJ track bar bracket, and made an incredible difference in handling.
  18. My 'Un-wheelable' Bronco (35"s, 3.73's, no lockers)

Good point. A co-worker scored a 23 WT with ADD bumpers, ICON lift kit, wheels with 37's, body wrap, ALL THE LIGHTS, for damn near MSRP. Traded in at 6k after dropping what, 17k worth of parts on it.
