Probably got some gas in the evap canister due to overfilling the tank. Canister is over saturated so vapors may be coming out from the vent valve, which is normally open to atmosphere.
It's weird how Ford gets so much publicity on recalls, when other automakers have just as many problems, but it's all hush hush. Honda v6's have rod bearing failures, absolute turd a/c systems, leaky head gaskets, Kia engines are made of paper mache, Jeep has two potential fire risks.
I do. It rocks. It's a blast offroad. 4lo in crawl gear is glacial.
Some older vids from Moab.
Don't mind the squeaky control arms.
Edit: tips and tricks!
You pretty much nailed the differences between the two options. Badlands has most of the Sasquatch equipment, aside from the wheels and 315's. Badlands has the extra body armor, extra armor under the lower trailing arm mounts. I think the new Squatches can be optioned with the sway bar...
I'm sure they can support the weight. DD says it's 3lbs? Shouldn't be an issue, especially spread across the both of the mounts. They are sturdy and are well secured to the spare carrier. They may flex a tiny bit when closing the tailgate since they are top heavy with lights, but nothing to...
Brackets, and lights, are doing just fine. Haven't used them as much as Id like to, but the fit and finish are great. For what it's worth, they're exposed to the AZ sun day in and day out, no excess wear and tear so far. I'd recommend them for mounting up some lights.
Soft top assist struts, tailgate table are pretty convenient.
The Ford accessory steel flares are good beverage tables and foot steps for cleaning the soft top.
Normal if two tires are facing the sun. After work my tire pressures are staggered somewhat, but after driving theyll even out. Course I live in AZ so it's obvious which tires were getting more sunlight.
I feel the results will be skewed. I'm sure a good portion of us on this forum do wheel and are nerds about new products or like to read about those suspension deep dives and other stuff.
The Scottsdale blonde driving her Braptor to Starbucks and pilates won't be scouring the forums for the...
Not accusing you of being one by any means. We hear that kinda thing a lot though in the shop. It amuses us. "Ever since my brake job, my phone doesn't connect to the infotainment..." You get the idea.
Is this the v6? I'm not familiar with the 2.7 oil filter location. Any sensors nearby that...
Sounds like the typical customer complaint template, "ever since you changed my oil"....insert random other issue here.
Most likely a coincidence. Or perhaps your trans was jealous that the engine got some fresh fluids.
Go find a 7mt to test drive. It's awesome. The 2.3 is no slouch. I have a moar door Badlands and I feed her premium, when it's not 5.50 a f#$king gallon, and she scoots just fine. I think Ford knocked it out of the park with the clutch setup.
The mt88 is noisy. I changed the fluid from Ford...
