This keeps happening to me....I assure myself that I want the 4-door for utility and space and I'm sticking with my order. Then another 2-door picture set or video comes out, and suddenly I'm thinking again of switching down to 2-door.
Even though it was a quick pass around, at 0:32 for...
Keep in mind the fishbowl lens distorts it a lot. The front seat looks like it’s right there in this picture too. I can’t remember where, but someone who did a video of this same truck way back in the B6G timeline did a normal lens closeup of the backseat and trunk. Still way more room than I...
Yup, just been lazy with this thread as more and more BD pics have come in and we have a better idea what they look like now. When I started this thread there weren’t a lot of pictures at all of the BD stock. Plus, I’ve been swayed to the Squatch by the KOH vids, so it doesn’t matter as much to...
That's good to hear. I had a 2016 F150 supercab with the 2.7, rated for 325hp/375tq in that year. I loved the 2.7 in there, it was faster than the 5.0s I test drove. Downsized to a 2016 GMC Canyon with the 2.8L duramax with 181hp and 369 tq, which is my current vehicle. I keep telling myself...
Funny, fuel economy wasn't really even a consideration for me haha, really only price tradeoffs and "will the 2.3 feel like enough". I think fuel economy differences will be negligible. A quick google search shows that the Ranger Tremor package (less aero and more weight in skid plates and such)...
My build exactly, except hard top.
Funny that 2.3A/Sas is such a small club. I chose 2.3A mainly due to price, it just doesn't seem worth it to add the 2.7 when I'm already spending more than I initially wanted to. I already made that tradeoff between 2.7 Basesquatch because the MGV/washout and...
Put my order in last week with Granger.
4 door BD
Cactus Gray
2.3 Auto
Sasquatch
Mid
MIC hard top
Tow Package
At $46.8 I'm almost $2k over what I wanted to spend, but feel confident that I am getting everything I wanted, except for the 2.7. I feel like a bit of an anomoly going 2.3/auto/sas as...
This is some mad scientist stuff. I love it. Currently waffling between a 2 door High badlands, or a 4 door Black Diamond Sasquatch which are both right around my budget. Logic tells me I’ll never wish I had less space, but the extra gizmos in the high package and BL keep tempting me and making...
Pretty extreme CV joint angle in that front suspension pic, that is going to be hard on the axles if wheeled hard. If I was going that high, I'd probably opt for a full crossmember LCA drop kit with larger knuckles.
It’s not more popular because Ford has done a great job convincing all of us (myself included) that we NEED a squatch or a badlands, with all of the marketing photos and early prepo models being 80% Sasquatch - it just looks more “correct” and anything else looks too small. I’m in the same boat...
Hi all, I reached out to BDS sales department to ask about their timelines for Bronco lift kits coming out. This is the response I received from the Creative Director at Sport Truck USA, the parent company of BDS/Zone/JKS/Fox:
So looks like it will be a minute to get a lift from BDS. I’m not...
Everyone excited for 4WP and I’m sitting over here waiting to hear from BDS. I shot their sales team an email to hopefully find out if they are working on Bronco products, but they have an annoying policy of not discussing future products until they are about ready for release. Haven’t heard...
That's pretty awesome, something like that I think would fit the bill for what I would want. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but the electronics stuff scares me when it comes to cars, I feel like I always hear about someone trying to wire in a subwoofer that ends up shorting out the rest of...
Hi all, currently going between base builds without Mid package, and Big Bend builds with it. The safety features I really like in it, but it’s not necessarily a dealbreaker - especially because it means the ability to step up to 2.7 V6 on the base.
But, I keep coming back to the 110v outlet...
I know this sounds insane, but for some reason, I feel like Cactus Gray just doesn't work on a 2-door. And it's my top choice for my 4 door builds. It's like the same way Cyber Orange just looks better on the 2-door than the 4-door, but reversed.
