  1. Go ahead and flame me. I switched to Soft Top.

Did a lot of thinking, analyzing, comparing about my use case and desires. Weighed all the pros and cons, and switched to the soft top. -Use case: I ordered the Bronco and will replace my mid-size GMC Canyon because the doors and roof come off. The rest of the vehicle will be an off road...
  2. 4WP Bronco Upfits Packages & Parts

I look forward to picking up those 4WP fender deletes as soon as I get my Bronco, and possibly even the front bumper down the line. That bumper looked awesome on the race red rig. as for the packages…holy hell that is too much money. I’ll take my $4225 invoice Sasquatch with more parts and...
  3. Discussion on soft top security/Cargo area enclosure

This would still technically work if the seats were down, it looks like from the picture that there is in fact a front metal wall to the enclosure. It would still secure things if the seat was down. Definitely doesn't work if you are doing a delete and need the whole area enclosed though, you'll...
  4. Discussion on soft top security/Cargo area enclosure

The idea is using the storage enclosure in my original post to secure any items that need securing. Any items, doors on or off, wouldn't be left in the rest of the vehicle to get seen or taken. My question was on if the doors unlock the tailgate at any time, one could press the unlock button...
  5. That many people really hate the soft tops?

I really want to like the soft top. The function of it folding all the way down to the tailgate easily is awesome, that's exactly why I want it. I am super concerned about the longevity though, like other posters have said, it seems like the material has already lost its taught-ness over the...
  6. Discussion on soft top security/Cargo area enclosure

Awesome, that pretty much answers the question then. Looks like the tailgate cargo would be secure then. Awesome!
  7. Discussion on soft top security/Cargo area enclosure

That’s my fear, is that having a soft top or the top down will make having the cargo enclosure obsolete if you can just reach in and unlock from the door. Ironically, going doors off it seems would be the most secure.
  8. Discussion on soft top security/Cargo area enclosure

It’s a backup plan, but my thought is about securing backpacks, duffel bags, things if that size and nature. The security drawer wouldn’t work for that.
  9. Discussion on soft top security/Cargo area enclosure

Been going back and forth lately on soft top vs. hard top, and I’m seeing more and more reasons why the soft top works for my use case. The only thing still in my mind is security. I know that soft tops really aren’t theft-proof at all, and it would have to be a lifestyle change to ensure I...
  10. Adding a hardtop after getting soft top at delivery…

That picture right there is enough for me to totally rethink if I need/want a hard top. The climate I’m in I probably can get away without it, and it doesn’t look like the washer/wiper do much. If I have to get out to clean it off anyway, maybe I should just go for the convenience of the true...
  11. 3,220 lbs tow rating showing for certain trims / models

Was there a new spec sheet that got released along with the HP/TQ numbers? Do you have a link?
  12. NEW HORSEPOWER / TORQUE SPECS for 2021 Bronco 2.3L and 2.7L

Tunes for gasoline engines don’t usually defeat any of the emissions devices, they mainly play with timing of fuel injection, quantity of fuel, and timing of ignition spark. Nothing illegal about that. It’s diesels that are the ones doing emissions deletes of the EGR and the DEF system that have...
  13. 2.7 or High Package

I guess it depends on the ride quality people are willing to live with, and for that matter, if spacer lifts will negatively affect the bronco. Which we will have to find out. On the F150 forums when I used to have my F150, and on the Colorado/Canyon forums when I was researching for my...
  14. 2.7 or High Package

It's all about perspective too. The 2.3 in the ranger does feel like it punches above its numbers. And the tune is always an option. I currently drive the 2.8 Duramax in my Canyon, which has 181 HP and about 10 seconds 0-60. And I can still drive that thing fast, you just have to floor it a few...
  15. 2.7 or High Package

Not necessaaaarily true. I've been going back and forth a looottt on if I should go squatch/2.3/mid on my Black Diamond, or non-squatch/2.7/a bunch of extra goodies from the accessories catalog. I would to a lift to my non-squatch build as well. To do that, five 33-35 inch tires will run you...
  16. Ultimate Big Bend Non-Sasquatch pics thread

It really was. I’ve been Cactus Gray since the early early squatched CG was making its rounds testing out west in the fall, but that VB was impressive, it looked amazing in person. If I went base with the limited colors, 100% VB.
  17. Ultimate Big Bend Non-Sasquatch pics thread

I went and saw the Velocity Blue big bend in person on the southeast tour. Great looking vehicle. I felt like in person, the height and tire size were excellent for anyone that doesn’t need Sasquatch, but wants to do the same outdoorsy hunting/fishing/camping/beach driving/winter sports stuff...
  18. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

Yup, same here. I’m not going to be taking on the Rubicon any time soon, it’s just nice to think about having all that extra suspension built in from the factory. I’d be lying if I said the looks alone of the lift on 35s isn’t a huge reason also though.
  19. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

Not sure if you know, but you CAN get manual on Sasquatch, it just moves you to a MY22 build automatically. Might be something to consider.
  20. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

Added a bunch of pics from the west coast Cactus Gray black diamond. I don't know about you all but I still have no idea if i want to sasquatch or not. Sometimes I see the stance of the BD and think it's great, maybe just a level and good to go. That lets me go wild on extras, accessories, and...
