  1. Bronco Big Bend vs Jeep Wrangler Willy's

HUGE for the 2-door crowd. Before the reveal, based on the 2-door wranglers and even the 4-door models I've seen, I didn't even consider the 2-door. My buddy's lifted JK on 37s is a dope rig, but he's got about 8 inches between the rear seat and the tailgate, it's laughable. Seeing the 2-door...
  2. Bronco Big Bend vs Jeep Wrangler Willy's

For me, the bottom line on Bronco vs Wrangler. I'll never wheel it hard enough to need a SFA, and people have been tackling trails way harder than I'll ever do with IFS midsize trucks and 4runners for years, with only basic suspension mods like coilovers and control arms. The bronco, especially...
  3. Bronco Big Bend vs Jeep Wrangler Willy's

That's it, right there. That's why we're all here.
  4. Bronco Big Bend vs Jeep Wrangler Willy's

Another pro for the Jeep....and also the bronco hahaha.
  5. Bronco Big Bend vs Jeep Wrangler Willy's

Yep, I know, It was kind of a sarcastic joke to myself. I'm on here and the B&P every day going back and forth on whether I'm going to go Basesquatch or Black Diamond. Half of me is telling me go big or go home, and I'll always regret not getting the sasquatch. The rational part of me says I...
  6. Bronco Big Bend vs Jeep Wrangler Willy's

One huge plus for the Jeep. Doing a solid front axle lift is way easier, and a decent amount cheaper, than the IFS. I've watched a ton of videos from when I was considering a gladiator, and installing control arms and new springs in the SFA is stupid easy for 3.5-5 inches of lift. On IFS, I've...
  7. Tow hook tech

Hmm interesting, I thought you were talking about the plastic piece to the left of the red circle. I'm not sure what that is, maybe bumper mound hardware? Who knows. I doubt it would be some crazy way to attach tow hooks. That seems like from a production and materials engineering standpoint...
  8. Bronco Big Bend vs Jeep Wrangler Willy's

Very true. At that price range, I think you'd be way happier and get more bang for your buck in the Willys than the Bronco, if you're just looking at 2-door. IMO, the way I see it, the Wrangler starts lower priced and better valued than the bronco, but goes way higher and decreases in value...
  9. Tow hook tech

I don't think those things are much extra hardware, to me it looks like a rubber or plastic shroud that's around the tow hook. It probably makes it mesh better with the front bumper and covers up the holes of the box frame. I believe I have something similar on my 2016 Canyon, and the tow hooks...
  10. Bronco Big Bend vs Jeep Wrangler Willy's

Not trying to knock you at all, kudos to you for considering the competition, I've looked at the Willys models too. But IMO, looking at that sticker price sways me even more towards the bronco. For 46k MSRP, I can get a 4-door Black Diamond, hard top, 2.7 auto, advanced transfer case, with mid...
  11. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

The logical part of me is telling me the same thing. The irrational part sees my buddies with lifted wranglers on 35s and 37s swinging their feet out the truck, 3 feet in the air, the doors off, top off, on a beautiful day, and something just tells me I WANT the Sas.
  12. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

That’s what I’m doing if I can convince myself I don’t need a 4 door squatch in my life.
  13. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

Look towards the bottom of the original post, I added all of the pics that are out there with the black 4 door on the gloss black steelies, with preproduction top. edit: 2 door. My bad
  14. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

True, but it’s not unreasonable to assume it’s just going to be the basesquatch price now, minus the auto transmission upgrade. Especially since they just corrected the pricing; it should be just the addition of the $4995 sas package plus $795 for full-time 4WD auto. It’s not like the...
  15. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

If those are your only requirements...this is what I just looked up on B&P, for no-options Black Diamond, vs. BaseSquatch with steel bumper and skid plates optioned. if that’s the two options for you, bare-bones Black Diamond or Basesquatch....you should wait for the ManBaseSquatch...
  16. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

Thanks! Trying to make it easier for myself and others. I find myself flipping back through my own thread whenever I have my daily basesquatch-BD debate.
  17. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

Been lazy with adding all the new pictures coming out in the last few weeks, uploaded all the ones I know about. Hopefully this helps some people with their build decision, I'm still completely torn between basesquatch 2.7 and BD 2.7/mid!
  18. What are the differences between Base Sasquatch and Black Diamond Sasquatch?

What you’re considering is along the lines of my builds too, except in 4 door. When it comes down to it, the biggest differentiator is MGV/washout, and the ability to get the mid package. Which adds another $1500 to the BD. I agree with everyone above, as much as I love the MGV interior, the...
  19. More 2-Door Bronco Badlands in Cyber Orange (With Measurements)

Wow. I had finally done it, I was finally 100% on a 4 door, I convinced myself the room was more important and I could live with a 4 door Black Diamond, or 4 door basesquatch. Now with those detailed trunk pics....I feel like i could make it work again. ugh 2 door BD squatch is calling my name...
  20. New Pic: Black Diamond Area 51 Soft-Top

Base does come with some safety stuff, but the Mid unlocks the lane departure warning, what I was mainly talking about. An underrated feature IMO because I have first hand seen how it can keep you from getting in an accident. Also, Blind Spot Indicator is another really cool plus. I’ve never...
